My very first shiney besides the red gyarados was a zubat that I didn't even find out was shiney until it evolved into Golbat. Idk how i didn't notice it was shiney with the yellow sparkles that appeared on the screen every time the thing came out of the pokeball but there you go. Your first?

Oh by the way, by some unbelievable luck my little sister managed to hatch a shiney elekid out of an egg! My eyes went like this. O.O

My first shiney Pokemon was probably a shiney Pidgey, when it appeared it glew and little sparkles came out of him. I evolved him to Pidgeotto and later Pidgeot and he is one of my favorite Pokemon. My golden feathered Pidgeot is unstoppable!

joebab : Yeah you can get Crobat on Gold just not in the wild. It's a friendly evolution from Golbat. So if you never got your green Golbat to evolve into a pink Crobat it's because it didn't like you enough. That's not surprising though because Crobat is one of the hardest friendly evolutions.

XxChaosxX : Crobat isn't one of the hardest friendly evolutions at all you just need to take proper care of it. I got a crobat on pokemon LeafGreen myself. (Grrrr. I still haven't found any shiny pokemon.)
