It's a hard choice, but I choose Lucas.

To me Lucas is better, by far. His PSI magnet has the same effect Ness' does but once released it can damage nearby opponents. His PK freeze is far better than Ness' PK Pulse. Lucas is much mroe agile and is faster than Ness. Lucas can inflict mroe damage from comboing and since he is afst he can damage afster and more. Lucas' PK thunder is better than Ness'.

Diddy Kong would defeat Tails. Diddy Kong has the cool Barrel Guns, he has unlimited bananas to throw on the floor, which will wait for Tails to trip, and the super cool Jetpack. Although Tails have the super cool robot that shoot out lazers and missles, Diddy Kong would easily dodge it, then attack.
