I understand how you feel and may hate the disease but you shouldnt consider it a bad word or ask others never to say it.

But yeah, I could go more complex on this if I wanted to... you know, rising signs and moon signs, since they greatly influence your personality as well. Gemini rising and Pisces moon, makes me a very chaotic individual.

And Zero, Cancer is a star constellation shaped like a crab (if I remember correctly, "cancer" means "crab"), and as you probably know, all Zodiac signs are named for constellations. For whatever reason, we also have 2 certain latitudes on earth called the Tropic of Cancer and the Tropic of Capricorn. I don't understand why they are named this, but it likely has something to do with those constellations being visible a majority of the time over those areas. The way I've heard it, the disease "cancer" was named such because it was first discovered (and was most common) in some of the areas known as the Tropic Of Cancer.

Thank you for the education on that Jake, I never knew why they called the disease cancer. And Zero, people die of cancer all the time, I know it hurts honey, but you can't let it effect you like that.

Yeah, if you were born on the day it lists as the change, or the day before or after you might want to check. The site that I mentioned is really good, it can even give you your rising sign if you know your time and place of birth, but yeah, any place that asks for your birthdate and birth year can tell you exactly which sign you are.

Well, at least you explained the part about why Cancer is a astrological sign. I forget myself why it's called the Tropic of Cancer and Tropic of Capricorn... although I think another factor is that those are the signs the sun is in on the Summer and Winter Solstice respectively. Around June 21 or so in the northern hemisphere the sun hits the Tropic of Cancer at a 90 degree angle, signaling the start of summer and this is also around the time that the sun enters Cancer. The same thing goes for the Tropic of Capricorn around December 21.
