How about The Myst and Storm of the Century. The Myst or Myst, whatever you wanna call it seems very similar to the better movie Storm of the Century.

I got a good one:

What is your review of "Get Smart"?

How about "The pursuit of Happyness"? (Happiness is spelled that way in the title)

Sep: I didn't like Harry Potter 1, it just felt so childish considering how you compare it to the other ones, Harry Potter 2 went into the right direction. Pursuit of Happiness was a good movie, it had Will Smith actually acting dramatic but what I hate was that he was using his son as the son in the movie like a "star vehicle"

Also, I thought Get Smart was humorous but I always liked the original series better. HOWEVER it was a lot better than the movie based off the 60's series, The Nude Bomb.

Jigsaw: Are you talking about Steven Kings Mist? Because it reminded me of John Carpenter's Fog. It made me think of the conclusion that the movies that King didn't direct mostly are good but when HE tries to make a movie out of his story it usually is bad (His adaptation of Shining, Maximum Overdrive, and a bit more)

Retro: I've always found Silence of the Lambs to be one of the best thrillers I've seen in years, everything was good about it. The acting from Foster as Starling, Levin as Buffalo Bill, Hopkins as Lecter, and to top it all off, a cameo from Roger Corman.

Crawl: Harryhausen did a really good job with the claymation effects, however the movie was just crap. I love how the government takes the monster once they think it's "dead" and take it to their lab to look at effects of how the monster survived in Venus, like they know that monster will wake up and attack them AGAIN. I also love how inside the Pentagon, models of the solar system double as fire alarms. And why are italian policeman equipped with FLAMETHROWERS? My final verdict: A good stopmotion creature in a poorly made, goof inflicted, low budget 50's creature feature.

XF, have you ever watched "The Jacket" with Adrien Brody and Keira Knightley? If so, what did you think? It's on of my all time favorite movies, I don't know why.

Do you only give reviews of movies that you've seen before, or do you actively go out and watch the movies that we ask you?

Also, what do you think about 500 Days of Summer?

Long list building up here... and yes, I'm adding to it .

How about Planet of the Apes? The old one with Charlton Heston in it, I mean. And if you've seen the Burton version, what's your comparison?

BTowns: I get to you later about The Jacket.

Fartman: Y You know there's parody movies that I actually like "Airplane!" or "Hot Shots" those were good movies that could perform humor that was intelligent and a bit stupid at the same time. Scary Movie fails to be funny at all, I love how the movie is parodying "Scream" yet that was a parody on it's own. Honestly, it really dumbed down to fart and sex jokes.

Omega: I thought Gladiator was excellent, Crowe's performance was top notch and while it was very gore I think of it as an awesome flick.

BTowns: I usually watch them to make sure about the plots and stuff. I did get to watch 500 Days of Summer and while it is one of those romantic comedies that I usually hate, I thought it was quite humorous. Though I can't stand the fact that the same guy was in G.I. Joe.

Zamiel: I have to agree with you, Pan's Labyrinth is one of my favorite films as well, Del Toro made it look like one of those child like fantasies but he pulled it off so great.

BigNate: Planet of the Apes to me has one of the best twists you could ever see to a movie, Heston was excellent in that movie however I hated every aspect of Burton's remake.

Another thing about Pan's Labyrinth, I highly suggest to anyone who has seen it to re watch it with the director's commentary on. Del Toro is a very interesting man and he points out so many aspects of the movie that you probably wouldn't have thought of when you watched.
