Black Bot's Pokemon SAPPHIRE review! :D   Batcake
Pokemon Sapphire Review.
By Black Bot.
Let's hop right in to the action! :D
GRAPHICS: 9 / 10
The Graphics for this amazing game were just amazing. I like how they pretty much copied Pokemon Ruby but this game is a little different compared to the others.
Characters: I like everytime you walk around, you should notice you have a different scarf.
In Pokemon Ruby, you have the Red scarf on the Boy and the Girl
In Pokemon SAPPHIRE, you have the BLUE scarf on the boy and the girl.
And Emerald has the Green Scarf of course.
I also like how when you run around or walk, your scarf moves as well everywhere you go.
Item designs:
I like the item designs and I like the items such as potions.
The Bike looks pretty cool when you ride on it, and I like the key item designs as well.
Pokemon Designs:
I like the Pokemon Designs. They are quite different than other generations.
Such as the Pidgey for an example.
The Pidgey in Generation 1 and the Pidgey in Fire red and Leaf Green are a little different. But in Ruby, it appears different in a battle. I like that as well.
Buildings:
I like the houses and buildings. It looks pretty neat. The creators did GREAT with it and the movement permissions. I really like how they did the fancy buildings and more!
What is best was Sootopolis City and underwater. Underwater, you could catch new Pokemon, explore hidden caves, and that is one of the only ways you can get in to Sootopolis city! VERY good design for that. Give them BIG credit.
EDIT: OH NO! I accidently closed the browser and the whole thing is ruined! D: OH NO!
Inside houses and buildings:
It looked very neat. I liked how it had all sorts of items including people, useful items, books, and more. Some TM's are hidden in Houses, so look out!
I like how there are people in nearly every house. I also like there are people that give you very useful facts and information.
Grass and Decorations: I really like the Grass and all that other stuff. Amazing. Just amazing. Let me explain.
Grass: I really like the grass not interfering with the flowers, signs, and all that other stuff. I also see that the signs are at the perfect position such as the poles and all that other awesome stuff.
Flowers: I like seeing the flowers in grass and you get to STEP and go right through them! xD It looks beautiful, and big credit to the wonderful Nintendo for EVERYTHING!
Sound: 9 / 10
I guess I could rate this a 9. Emerald nearly had the same sound track. lol
Instead of the 8 - bit sound in Generation 1, there is 16 - bit sound or whatever it is! I really like the different music for each city, each route, each house, and what I really like is the underwater music!
All of the music feels relaxing and very decent. Could be improved though, like the Pokemon Champion battle music and change it to like the Battle Tower champion battle music. It actually sounds a lot better. Try it out for yourself and compare.
Addictiveness: 8 / 10
What they did not include is the entire Battle Frontier. Which is sad and a lot more people prefer Emerald and more prefer playing Emerald than Ruby. Ruby is pretty much the same, except with different Pokemon, and without the awesome Battle Frontier.
You could catch some legends, but not all that you could get in Emerald. This is why a lot more people prefer playing Pokemon Emerald instead of Pokemon Ruby. That is pretty much why.
Story: 8 / 10
You want to be the Pokemon master and you must be the master!
You have to get a Pokemon, catch Pokemon, level up Pokemon, evolve Pokemon! You have to beat trainers and your rival! You have to make your long journey, beating the Pokemon league, being the Champion, and being the awesome Pokemon master position that you deserve! You should play this game!
Depth: 9 / 10
If you have read earlier, they have not included the whole awesome / amazing battle frontier. But this game has a bunch of cities, filled with buildings, filled with trainers and people, and more! You go from Littleroot Town to the Pokemon League to be the Pokemon Champion! They are like 500 trainers out there waiting to battle you now! Catch legends such as Deoxys, Rayquaza and more! Catch all 386 Pokemon in this game! Be the champion Be the master! This also has a lot more fun and amazing stuff in it as well!
Difficulty: 8 ?/ 10
Battling like 500 trainers isn't that hard.. Unless you train your Pokemon CORRECTLY. It is not that hard if you actually KNOW the game and know all the hard facts and all that stuff. Beat the Elite Four! Become the champion!! Doesn't seem that easy? Doesn't it? This game should normally take about a week before you beat this. But you still may need to spend an extra 5 hours just training your Pokemon in the tall grass. Trainers get a lot stronger as the more further you go into the game. You'll get used to it in a while. It will be easy if you have very strong Pokemon!
OVERALL: 9.5 / 10. 0
I chose 9.5 which is an amazing choice for a Pokemon game without a Battle Frontier. Don't you think? They still didn't include some things, but overall, this game is amazing. The graphics, the sound, the Depth, the every thing is just amazing! Travel to new places, meet new people, go in Pokemon battles, Be the Pokemon champion and your very hard work has finally payed off. With a not so bad difficulty, this game has to be one of the best games that I have finally played. Very similar to Emerald, but Emerald is just SLIGHTLY better with the Battle Frontier and a bunch of different Pokemon.
Well that is it.
Thanks for reading this entire review! Do not forget to rate it on the Game's page above this whole post!
:)

Pokémon: Sapphire - Review by Dean 2k13 (FEATURED)   Dean2k13
Hello there! This is going to be my review of the game 'Pokémon: Sapphire' I really hope you enjoy this review.
Alright lets go.
Graphics 9/10
The graphics within this game are almost perfect! You can obviously see that the creators of this game really put in a great amount of time and effort into making this game's visual appearance spectacular. There were great uses of color and shading throughout this game, this really impacted on my opinions and thoughts particularly in this aspect of the game. These colors were very cheerful and vibrant also. The graphics may be what you would expect from a GameBoy Advance game but the colorization scheme in this game is excellent.
Let's just jump straight into the scenery. The scenery in this game is utterly unbelievable in my opinion. There were great shades of coloring used in this game particularly on the nature of it. There is great imagery in this game. The trees, caves, buildings, routes and pathways are all amazing and you can definitely see without a shadow of doubt that the creator of this game put a lot of effort into them specifically, because after all we do see these features repetitively throughout the game.
The trees in this game were used effectively and all of them fitted in with their surroundings perfectly, there were great uses of green used on the trees and they looked very good quality so that was great to see. The colors of brown used in the making of the caves were also very vivid and clear as there were many different shadings used, there was amazing attention to detail. The shadowing inside the caves was very effective too, it made the cave look very creepy and obviously dark. The water in this game is the same as it is in every Pokémon game, deep blue colors which make the surf look pretty spectacular.
The towns in this game were really well work on, there was so much attention to detail. All of the towns were very pleasing on the eye, but more specifically Rustboro, it reminded me of the towns Saffron and Goldenrod from the games Pokémon Shiny Gold & Fire Red because of the old cobbled paths and the shiny buildings, the old fences and tall light posts. This town, in my opinion, was the best town in the game, because there was more detail put into this town than the rest of the towns.
The character sprites in this game are actually the best sprites I have ever seen, and you may think this is just hyperbole and exaggeration but I can assure you I'm being 100% serious. The creators went all out on the sprites in my opinion because their attire is amazing, I love the headband that your character (if you chose to be a BOY in the beginning) Brendan is equipped with is so awesome, it makes him look extremely tough, like a biker. His hairstyle is also very slick and amazing, the spikes on the rear view (back) of his head are so awesome! I really like them, and also I think the white hair makes him really stand out from the crowd, very dominant. His gloves are also so lavish, I really want them.. they're awesome! Finally, I like the use of green and red used in the characters clothing it's really attractive and a great mix of color.
The rival (if you chose to be a BOY in the beginning)  May's sprite is also very nice and pretty attractive in my opinion, she wears a really cool bandanna which makes her look really awesome and fierce, and those characteristics are really hard to find in a female character, as you would know from watching the anime series. May's hairstyle is really attractive for an animated character, the fringe is particularly nice. Her gloves are even better than Brendan's, the colors used on them are extremely cool. Both characters have the same particular theme of coloring, the whites, the greens, the reds and the blacks, they all tie in with each other and it makes the characters look amazing.
Overall I'm really impressed with the graphics in this game, there was a lot of detail in each aspect of the game which is always great to see. My only criticism is that I was expecting it, there were no surprises in this game concerning the graphics. I would also like to add that the battle concepts in the game were tremendous, it made you want to battle even more.
Sound 5/10
The sounds in this game weren't as great as that of Pokémon Fire Red. Fire Red's music was fast and upbeat and it got your blood flowing, and even the quiet music soothed you and made you feel relaxed. But, in this game the music was TOO slow, the music in the towns was very slow, there were barely any vibes or catchy tunes that I could cling onto and get into. The music in this game didn't change how you felt within the game really at all.
The music that plays when you cycle your bike in this game is extremely boring unlike the other Pokémon games, again there was nothing in the tune that I could get into and enjoy. However, this game, as well as all Pokémon games has the classic sound that plays when you catch a Pokemon which was really good and was probably the highlight of all the music that was introduced into the game. Even though the tune plays every time you catch a Pokemon it's still pretty awesome and really nice to listen to, like I said before in previous reviews, it makes you feel that you completed a goal and to be proud of yourself. The creepy tunes of the basements also were in this game which also helped improve my opinions on this games sound. Like I said before, "it makes you feel that your on a mission and you can't be seen. This music really pulls on your senses, you're always alert and ready for battle in the basements because of the music. "
The battle music that plays when you're battling, of course, is very good to listen to after listening to the terrible music (in my opinion) that played in the towns, it's very similar and identical to that of Fire Red's as it's a really fast tune that gets your blood pumping.  This music also has great vibes to it. The Pokemon league music was amazing too! The tunes were very fast and upbeat and filled you with passion and made you really want to win which is great as it puts you in the 'Zone'. All gamer's will know what the 'Zone' is.
Addictiveness 10/10
This game is very, very addictive. I played this game when I was a lot younger all the time, it was my only hobby for about a year when I was nine years old, and I still do play this game at this age when I have the spare time that is. It's an amazing game and it's really safe to say that this game created my childhood.
This game is situated in Hoenn which is ONE of the BEST regions in the whole of Pokémon, it's second after Kanto. There's actually so much to do in this region, I particularly loved gambling, boy is it fun! Mauville provided all my betting needs, it provided a good ole Game Corner which to be full honest everyone loves! Seeing those three sevens appear in a line is amazing because you win so much game coins which can be exchanged for amazing prizes, yup I was really addicted to the Game Corner.
The Hoenn start Pokémon are also very cool! Mudkip, Treeko and Torchic, all three of them are amazing which is why I traded to get all three. All of them Pokémon are extremely powerful and competed very well in battle which is why I was heavily addicted to the battling in the game. The legendary Pokémon within this region are extremely epic! There's so many of them but for the sheer huge amount of them, they're all pretty strong. Latias. Latios. Kyogre. Rayquaza. Groudon. Jirachi. Deoxys and not forgetting the lean mean destroying machines Regirock, Regice and Registeel! The amount of legendary Pokémon in the game drew me into the game even more and made me want to play it even more hence adding to the addictiveness.
This game is very similar to Fire Red in that there is no end to the battles, every where you go there's a trainer willing to battle you with all his/her might, there is no escaping them and you must defeat them. I love Pokémon battles as it fills me with excitement and ruthlessness so this was really good for me! I'm addicted to Pokémon battling so the amount of battles in this game drew me in even further and I became even more addicted to the game. The battles in this game were fairly challenging and really tastes your battling skills which is a good thing because it provides more game play to the game because it may take a user a while to defeat their opponents. There was also a Trainer Tower in this game too which was really thrilling! If you love leveling your Pokémon then this is the place for you, I recommend this game to all you battle maniacs out there. The Tower really tests your abilities as the Pokémon you face are the same level as your Pokémon.
Overall I found this game extremely addictive.
Story 9/10
This story differs from the other stories from the very beginning. Yes you are welcomed into the world by the local professor, in this case it's Birch, yes you choose your characters name (default - Brendan). But, in this game you do NOT choose your rivals name, it is already fixed. If you choose to be a male character your rival will be May and if you choose to a female character your rival will be Brendan. Also, you do not automatically start off in your town like the other games, in this game you are inside a removal truck which creates a sense of wonder and suspense of what's going on? This truck drops off outside your home in LITTLEROOT which is a nice little town. In this game, there is a clock therefore it is time-based and specific events take place at specific times which is great. Professor Birch is not in his lab, very similar to Fire Red. This time the professor is being attacked by a ZigZagoon and you have to help him, he tells you to choose a Pokémon from his bag and you defeat the wild Pokémon with it. Birch then gives you the Pokémon you chose. Overall this is a very dramatic way to begin a game, a very cunning way to start an adventure.
This game is very similar to the rest of the games, you collect GYM badges, you battle with all your might travelling through all the towns in the region and you eventually beat the Pokémon league, all straight forward stuff.
Depth 8/10
This game is really detailed, there's actually an obscene amount of detail. This game is different in that you're not facing the well-known Team Rocket but another very vicious group called Team Aqua. And again, this whole Team Aqua scandal takes forever to resolve, they're always moving to different bases throughout the game and it's up you to find them, and while you're searching for them they're making evil plans and you have to resolve them too, so this adds to the depth of the game. Also, when you find Team Aqua and battle them they like to move around leaving you there stranded, having to get out their base and then progressing through more towns to find them again.
It takes forever completing all of the Kyogre tasks, the awakening and then the calming, Team Aqua of course are the cause of this because they have the Orb that awakens the beast.
Overall, this game is long and enduring in my opinion.
Difficulty 7/10
In my opinion, this game is semi-difficult.  I only found a few of the GYM's really challening to tackle and overcome, especially the last two, they were really tricky as their Pokémon were really high leveled and a lot more advanced in their evolution stages than mine, but after hard work and determination I succeeded and earned the badges. I found the league was also very simplistic to be honest, their Pokémon were very easy and weren't very effective against mine, It only took me one try before I conquered them. The elite were too easy for me, I would have preferred a greater challenge to be honest, considering they're supposed to be the best of the best, they really weren't.
Catching the legendary Pokémon in the game was fairly easy (bar a few) in my opinion because they didn't really have any strong stats. Getting the Regi's was pretty difficult as you needed the move dig, and you couldn't just obtain the TM Dig, you had to level up your Pokémon to a high level in order to achieve dig. It took me weeks to do this because I didn't have a clue what Pokémon could learn dig, so it was really difficult catching those Pokémon.
Overall I think this game is tremendous and should most definitely be given a try, there is a lot more to this game than the other previous games. There is great depth in this game and also a great story line which relates to Pokémon Ruby's which I will review very soon. It isn't too difficult so it welcomes young users who may want to try this game. I highly recommend this game, please try it. Have Fun!
Thanks for reading.

Pokémon Sapphire Review by TornadoMudkip   TornadoMudkip
This is my 6th Review, please enjoy! This time about Pokémon Sapphire!
Start: Pokémon Sapphire was released in Japan in 2002. It was released internationally in 2003.
Pokémon Sapphire is Game with a new Region Hoenn, Hoenn is based on the island of Kyushu in Japan.
This game contains the basic that a Pokémon game has, like catch all of the Pokémon and complete the Pokédex, which is 386 Pokémon in total in this Game + becoming the Champion.
You play in this Game in the new Hoenn Region, with in total more then 100 new Pokémon! How cool is that?
In Hoenn, they kept to the model of Grass, Water, and Fire for the starter Pokémon, introducing Treecko, Mudkip, and Torchic respectively. One of these Pokémon is received from Professor Birch after saving him from a wild Poochyena at the start of the game.
They are good Pokémon if you are a new to Pokémon because all of them learn good Moves and can Level up easy! (Treecko hardly learns good Moves in its Basic form)
The Legendary Ocean Pokémon, Kyogre, expanding the sea is the Main Legendary from this Game (You can see that on the Box)
All of the Characters have a new Design! The Main Male Character looks like Brendan and the Main Female Character is look like May from the Anime.
And like always, you can get a Free Potion at the Begin! ;)
First the Graphics: The games looks good, the Houses, Trainers, Gyms and much more!
Pokémon Sprites are good Designed and not to Big or Small! I like them, most of the Pokémon are looking cool and cute, like Mudkip. :P
The Colours of the Pokémon's are better then from the previous Pokémon Games. (Like Red and Blue)
Through the Cheerful Colours in the Game everywhere, the Graphics are good, I'll give a 9.
Second the Sound: The sound quality is almost perfect for me.
I really love this Sound, it's just a Remake from the Sound of R/B (G)
The Sound is so  Nice to hear! Why? The Tunes are a good because it's new Sound to hear! < Only for this Game and Ruby/Emerald. > What I try to say is this Sound is unique. I like that.
Each Location that you traveled gave a little Tune for you to enjoy!
The Pokémon Cry's are Nice to hear to! Why? The Sounds aren't to high! (I like especially the Mudkip one! ;))
I'll give a 9
Third the Addictiveness: This Game is really fun to play!
If you Lose a Battle you can try it again. If you beat the Elite Four + Champion, you can try it again.
You can always try to Catch all of the Pokémon. You can do a lot and automatic you play this Game again and again! You can really enjoy this Game! Because the reasons what I write here above!
Sad thing is this Game isn't very long, if you've beaten the Elite Four + Champion then you can only catch all the Pokémon... (You need to Trade to have all the Pokémon, it's look like impossible)
I'll give a 8.
Fourth the Story: The Story is good!
In Pokémon Sapphire you follow the original story of training yourself  to become the very best Trainer in the Region/World! You can be if you defeat the Elite Four + Champion and Catching all of the Pokémon is your quest.
You can challenge your Rival as you go on your Adventure, which is Brendan if you're May or May if you're Brendan. (Rival is not very Strong but like always your Rival chooses the Pokémon where you are weak against: If you choose Treecko then your Rival chooses Torchic etc.)
In this Game you can defeat 8 Gyms and you can earn Badges! + you can beat Team Aqua in this Game.
That's good, you can do for sure a lot in this Game!
I'll give a 9.
Fifth the Depth: This Game is not to long and not to small! It fits good for length.
Like what I said before in the Story: You can defeat 8 Gyms and Elite Four + Champion and more! < Like in a Original Pokémon Game.
The Game offer are good, until you've beaten the Elite Four + Champion, then you can only catch all of the Pokémon and find every Item. (Which looks impossible)
I'll give a 8.
Sixth Difficulty: This Game isn't hard to beat! Why? Because the most Trainers aren't strong.
If you're a Starter to Pokémon, this Game suits perfectly for you! Because this is a new Region with new Pokémon. < The Pokémons are new for everyone!
Even if you're someone who loves/known to Pokémon! This Game is fun, because this Game has more news like Double Battles.
Everyone loses sometimes a Battle! That's okay because if you don't give up you can win this Game!
I'll give a 6
Overall: This Game is really good and fun to play.
If I was you, I should play this Game! It's worth playing!
I'll give a 9! It deserve it! ;)
This was my 6th Review, I hope you liked my Review! ^^

Pokemon Sapphire   bayleef9710
Pokémon Sapphire was released in Japan in 2002. It was released internationally in 2003. By then, Pokémon had hit a high point with Jodi's success. In fact, because of this, Ruby & Sapphire was ranked second and third in highest sales. It hit 2 million sales in North America alone. Now I am here to write a review of it.
Graphics- I personally am not big on the graphics are. Usually the only thing I notice about them is whether they are bad or not. As with all Pokémon games, the graphics were fine. It was definitely well-made.
Sound- I don't use sound, so I really can't tell you much about that.
Addictiveness- Well, this is a Pokémon game. The addictiveness is there; this has clearly been made by Pokémon Inc. I rate it with the other Pokémon games, about a 9. I enjoy playing Pokémon and Pokémon related games, including their anime/show. I believe for other people, it'll be just as addictive as the other games.
Story- The story is pretty much the same. As with all other Pokémon games, you are a trainer and go around defeating trainers, in order to become the ultimate Pokémon trainer. In your path to fame, includes 8 gym leaders, and 4 Elite Four members. Then, finally, you get to truly test your skills against the strongest Pokémon trainer the world has ever seen- he goes by Steven. He is the champion, and includes his strong steel types to secure his position. But, along the way, you meet tough Tentacruels, speedy Pikachus, and Trapinchs that have the ability Arena Trap that gets annoying real fast. As you build up your team to challenge Steven, the dastardly Team Aqua is blocking your path! You must defeat their Zubats, and their Poochenyas! After you've defeated the grunts, you have to combat Archie, the leader, in order to stop Team Aqua's plan to capture Kyorge! (Which has always confused me, considering that most trainers then catch him). You must have an epic battle to stop him from submerging the world!
Depth- The depth is definitely there. It is mostly like other Pokémon games. 1 "Team" to defeat, mostly having Zubats, and Geodudes. 1 Pokémon League. 4 Elite Pokémon trainers and 1 cave full of useless Pokémon that annoy the life out of you.
Difficulty- Not much harder than other Pokémon games. I usually lose a couple times to the Elite Four, but mostly, I can defeat the game within a median time. The selecting of Pokémon, I always find interesting.
Overall- Overall, it is a continuation of the Pokémon series. I didn't believe it would be especially well, nor especially bad. But, I must admit, each and every Pokémon game continually surprises me.function findLinks() { var anchorNodes=document.getElementsByTagName('a'); var leng=anchorNodes.length; var plugin=document.getElementById('pluginBm'); for(var ix = 0;ix0) { for(var ix=0;ix

Pokemon Sapphire Review   Divine Aurora
"New adventure, New story, New Pokémon, visually stunning".The game features a(n) all new story that takes place in the Hoenn region with an all new International criminal gang   organization known only as Team Aqua who's motives are toover flow the the land with water to make/form new ocean's and seas for Pokémon, using the legendary power of the myth Pokémon known as Kyorgore. There are a huge amount of legendary Pokémon in this game which is very uncommon compared to the amount of legendary Pokémon seen in previous installments in the franchise( a total of 7 legendary Pokémon). The game has some very interesting and new features like for example it now rains(it can rain heavily or drizzle), the sun shines(it can be bright or drought like),there are two kinds of bikes instead of the usual one kind(mach or acro bike).
Graphics: 10
"What can be expected out of the graphics portrayed in Pokémon Sapphire?",Well Once again gamefreak manages to pull another visually stunning display of beautiful animation. The waves out on the water move, you can see your reflection in small puddles ocean's. The colorization is the most realistic to date, meaning it feels almost real. The Pokémon look almost exactly like how they appear in the pokedex during battle, but with better resolution(pixel wise) and a lot better graphic design and color is evenly distributed through out. The graphics and color on the buildings and in towns have only gotten better and more unique and descriptive. There are no game freezes or crashes nor are the any deformities in the Pokémon spirits. There are two types of grass in the game, tall dark green grass which have stronger leveled Pokémon than normal in them and shorter light greener grass which has generally weaker leveled Pokémon in them, the pixel quality is so clear you can easily tell the difference between the to without even paying to much attention to it.
Sound: 9
"What's the sound quality like Pokémon Sapphire?", well  is like every other Pokémon game that comes out each one has its own new soundtrack, but the music does repeat constantly in battle which can get really annoying. The games sound quality its self is fine acoustics and pitch wise with no irregularity's such as sound distortions(unless you are using speed bar), scratches/repetitive beat repeat, or unsuspected stops and pick ups in sound when playing/listening to  the games music.
Addictiveness: 7
"So just how addicting is Pokémon Sapphire to play, what's it's reply value?" I'm very likely to replay this game because it had a lot of legendary Pokémon in it, followed by a way better story and unique all new Pokémon that truly are the most creative out of the entire franchise. What also made this game addicting was the many new features such as the Pokémon contest and the berry maker mini game.In Pokémon contest there are different difficulty ranks, normal, super, ultra and master. Also there is a new feature/challenge introduced to the Pokémon franchise, The Battle tower where you battle trainers and there Pokémon back to back for battle points which can be used to purchase items.
Story: 7
"How does the story go in Pokémon Sapphire"?,The story goes like any other Pokémon game, except this time you wake up just moving into the new town of Littleroot, and your Mom has you set your clock and when you go downstairs she said your Dad's on Tv(because he is a gym leader), but by the time you look its over and then your Mom has you go meet your next door neighbors and once you do that you hear cries for help  and then further go on to see the Pokémon professor Birch being chased down by a zigzagoon(new Pokémon) and so you have to get to his brief case to pick a Pokémon to help stop the zigzagoon from hurting him. After all that is set and done he gives you the Pokémon as a reward and then sets you off to challenge your rival over on the next route. Pokémon Sapphire has a new evil organization up and developing in the shadow's of Hoenn, a evil organization know as Team Aqua who's goal is to expand the ocean's and seas and overflow the land with water for the benifit of water Pokemon, unlike there counter part, the evil Team Magma who's goal is to drown out the sea and ocean's to expand landmass expand the sea for land based  Pokémon, ultimately both evil organizations awaken the super ancient and power legendary Pokémon of the sea and land, Groundon and Kyorge. So basically like it's like this, set off on your journey, raise battle your Pokémon and overcome the many challenges you will face while trying to become a Pokémon master by beating the elite 4 and filling your pokedex page with information on every Pokémon in the Hoenn region.
Depth: 6
"Just how big of a game is Pokémon Sapphire?",The game is a fairly big, the hidden area's like the place's where you catch the three regi's(the three new elemental legendary Pokémon), the island where battle tower is(battle frontier), and also shoal cave(behind Mossdeep city), Sky pillar(off the coast of Pacifidlog town) , only add to how large the game is. The game offers gamers/fans of the franchise, a all new adventure with new features never before seen to the franchise, tied altogether with new and old Pokémon.
Difficulty: 6
"How hard was Pokémon Sapphire, what's the difficulty like?",Well like most Pokémon games the difficulty inst an issue, they are really easy if you raise a well balanced team and or one Pokémon to an extremely high level or just flat out use legendary Pokémon. The game is easy if you have the type advantage over the Pokémon your batting, the games A.I. Is still brainless and makes consistent mistakes and purposely has huge gaps in its  battle strategy.
Overall: 9.2
Overall I gave the game a 9.2 because it story truly is the best plot/story line I've seen out of the franchise, and it's features such as berry blender mini game and the all new Pokémon contest halls only added to the games overall appeal and addictiveness. So between beating the gyms and earning all the contest ribbons this game offered a lot to do with hours of entertainment, and I would recommend it to any fan of the franchise or anyone just starting out the franchise.

My First Pokemon Handheld Game   freakyforrest9
Ah, Pokémon. The Game and Anime we've all grew up with. The crazy thing is, this was my first game to actually involve the Pocket Monsters, Pokémon for short, world. I like this game more than the show that airs nowadays. This game had me in awe when I first played it. I've never seen the Pokémon before I first played it, because it was on a different channel than I normally watched it on, Cartoon Network. But enough about the show AND the game. Let's talk about JUST the game.
Graphics: 9- Why a 9 and not lower? This is the GBA we're talking about. Back before the Nintendo DS took the GBA's attention. The way the game looks took me by surprise. Never seen a game as good as this. The only why I gave the Graphics 9/10 was because the game could have been more crispier than the average GBA game at the time.

Sound: 8- The sound was good while playing. I've found myself humming the Poke battle tune when it started playing. Just don't play it around anything loud if you like the music, how else could you listen to them?, unless you have good earphones that are really good for your ears.
Addictiveness: 9- Although I've never beaten the game, I've found that if it doesn't work your way, just restart. But what's the point in that? This game is the reason I got really addicted to the games. So addicted that I try to get every game at that point. I'm practically nowhere near there, before I met Vizzed ha ha. This game would pretty much be the best game to get, or Ruby or Emerald, which ever you prefer. It's still gonna get you addicted no matter how hard you try to quit playing.

Story: 6- The story is basically the same from the original games. Catch Pokémon, Beat the Gym Leaders, Get All 8 Gym Badges, Beat the Elite Four, Beat the Champion, Be Champion. Need I say more?
Depth: 6- The game offers some good, until you've looked at every nook and cranny for every Pokémon you could get, and all the items you can find. The game offers a good amount of legendaries in my mind. Try catching a Pokémon with a pokeball or any thing with that catch rate, and see how you'd react, Chuggaconroy I'm looking at you. Other than that, just keep battling the Elite Four until you've reached level 100. Then battle players online, if that's possible on here, I don't know.
Difficulty: 5- Not too difficult unless you have under leveled Pokémon, Torchic before the first gym, or if you come unprepared. I remembered when I reached the Elite Four. Drake always gave me a hard time. Watch out for those Potions, Super Potions, or Hyper Potions that you didn't expect the Gym Leader or Elite Four Member you face. It'll come and bite you in the butt later.
Overall: 9-Just the same old stuff, just different region, Hoenn, and different Pokémon.

Pokemon Sapphire Game Review   Ghost.Busters
Another day. another Pokemon game it seems. Sapphire does what every new Pokemon game does, adds a huge amount of Pokemon to the same game under a different name and region. This time, they add 135 new Pokemon and take you to the region of Hoenn. That brings the total Pokemon to 386. Now, this may sound a little Far'fetch'd, but I almost preferred the Pokemon games back before they were Muking around with adding more and more Pokemon. The task to catch-em-all was cool at first because it was something attainable, not to say that catching every Pokemon in these games is impossible, I just find it a bit Oddish that the way the game increases the difficulty of your achieving your catch-em-all dream is simply to add more to catch, no increase the actual gameplay difficulty. All the developers have to do is look outside for some sort of animal they can emulate in a Pokemon (Slug), slightly change the name (Slugma), and add some element effect to it, then Abra, Kadabra, Alakazam, you've got yourself a new Pokemon game.
I don't mean to be all Gloom and doom here. I know I'm asking for people to attach some Electrodes to me and fry me with electricity. I'm not saying this is a bad game. It's a Pokemon game, carrying over all the gameplay elements from previous games. But the Exeggcutive Director does not stray too far from the original formula. While there are some new additions (and I'll cover those in a sec, don't get your undies in a Tangela) these new additions really don't add anything substantial to the game or are underused.
Basic Pokemon game goes thus: Boy (or girl) receives Pokemon, embarks on glorious quest to obtain all gym badges without Slaking, MUST BECOME THE VERY BEST. LIKE NO ONE EVER WAS! ...*cough* *cough* Pardon the throat there. I know it wasn't the best singing ever, but I've been dealing with a cold all week and have been Koffing and Weezing all day. Ouch, what a Ghastly pun. My main point is that the real core difference between one Pokemon game and the next is the set of Pokemon, and eventually they are going to run out of Pokemon to make, or this will turn into Rocky or Jaws where they just keep adding numbers onto the end of the title.
But for those Seaking the nitty gritty aspects of this game, grab a Lanturn and let's go deeper. What's new here? The most obvious would be the double battles, in which two Pokemon from each team battle at the same time, for a total of two combatants. But, before you open your Meowth to say that this is the addition that saves this game, it by no means Seels the deal. The main problem is that the double battles happen far too infrequently. I can understand wanting to play your cards close to the chest, but the double battles, one of the coolest additions to Pokemon, are played so close to the chest you'd think they were tattoos.
But what about Abilities and Natures, cried the huddled masses. Yes, yes, these are actually what I enjoyed about this game. But before I Jynx myself, allow me to explain why. These Abilities and Natures, passive abilities that certain individual Pokemon have, change the way you play the game. You have to employ new strategies and team compositions to deal with the addition of these Abilities. To avoid sounding a bit cliched, or like I'm beating a dead Horsea, these are literally game-changers. Where I would have normally tackled a battle one way in a previous game, I now have to deal with Abilities as well.
And that's pretty much it. That's what's new. They even took out some of the old that was interesting... night and day sequences? Why would those not be implemented? Was someone afraid of taking a Chancey? And no one can say that the new region counts as something new, because it contains the same old same old as the old regions, someone just took a label maker to the game map and renamed the locations. It's not Johto anymore, it's Hoenn!
However, begrudging as it is to admit, this game is still a blast. Which is unfair really, because the only reason its such a blast is because of what came before it: the solid gameplay of the first Pokemon games reused and recycled is a pure gem. But what keeps the game from Bellossoming is that it relies too much on its tried and true formula. You all can think me a mean reviewer, as mean as Genghis Kangaskhan, but I would prefer to curl up with a chocolate Ho-oh and play Pokemon Red or Blue.

an okay pokemon game   jaws123
So I know a lot of people are gonna hate me for my opinion of this game. Personally I don't like emerald or sapphire or ruby. They are all just weird to me. I don't get the same vibe while playing these like I get in other pokemon games. Something about this game doesn't get me in the pokemon mood. So here's the review, sorry if my opinion is stupid to you.
GRAPHICS: 10/10
There is no problem here. The graphics are good and clear. The buildings are much better and easier to see then in the previous generations. The animations for the pokemon are also a huge improvement. I was able to clearly make out what all of them were supposed to look like. I had some problems with seeing pokemon animations wrong in the previous generations.
SOUND: 8/10
This might just be me but i personally didn't like the music as much as in the other games. Once again the music failed to capture me and make me want to play more. Otherwise the sounds are all good.
ADDICTIVENESS: 8/10
I know a lot of people absolutely love this game so i can't be sure about my opinion of this. I wasn't very addicted. Nothing really captured me and kept me wanting more. I did like however the pokemon in this game. One of the only reasons I played on was because i knew bagon was somewhere in the game. One of my favorite pokemon that I'm always exited to get is makuhita. It's a fighting type and is always good to have on your team.
STORY: 9/10
The story is average. Pretty simple but so are all the other stories in all the other pokemon games. Your a kid who moves to a new town and saves the professor. In return the professor gives you a choice between three good pokemon. Once you have your pokemon you start your adventure. Run into team aqua and magma stop team aqua from completing their evil plan. then you beat the elite 4 and defeat the champion. The end.
DEPTH: 8/10
This game doesn't really have more ore less to offer then any of the other pokemon games. Once cool thing about this game is there are secret areas you can access through a TM that opens the way to a base. You can decorate your base however you want. There is actually quite a bit of play time. I think i spent more time on this game then fire red or any of the others.
DIFFICULTY: 6/10
Basically you need to build a even and powerful team. After that the rest is easy. It's pretty strait forward the whole way through. The battles aren't hard when you have a team that can match up with any pokemon with super effective hits.
OVERALL: 8.5/10
I didn't really like this game for myself but that is no reason to mark it down. This game does have a lot to offer and i do recommend this game to any pokemon fan if they haven't played it already. Thanks for reading!

Pokemon Sapphire   marcus047
Game history/Background- This game is Gamefreak's 2nd Pokémon installment for the Game Boy Advanced system/platform. But altogether
this game is Gamefreak's 8th installment in the Pokémon franchise for/in Japan( and 7th installment in the franchise for America). This
game was released with another title called Pokémon Ruby and the
difference between the two is which major  crime syndicate you battle,
and what Pokémon appear in the wild, and in my own opinion the
difficulty.
Graphics- The graphics are what you'd normally expect out of a Game Boy Advanced game, the colorization/color scheme are excellent. The trainers facial graphics and clothing design are at there best for the time period. The buildings are a lot more descriptive and detailed, as well as the Pokémon, so for graphics I gave the game a 10 out of 10.
Sound- The sound quality is near perfect for the time. Pokémon cries are at there best, quality wise. The sound quality is what you would expect from a Game Boy Advanced game. Me personally I don't like the soundtrack for this game, but you can clearly understand the music tempo and the acoustics is good, so for sound I gave the game a 10 out of 10.
Addictiveness- Well the game fell a little short in this category, because I really wasn't in a hurry nor rush to beat this, I was not investing hours of time into beating this( like I would other Pokémon games) I only beat this game once, because it really wasn't that challenging, and the story's dialog isn't all that great and I'm not likely to replay this. So for addictiveness I gave the game a 6 out of 10.
Story- The story is not the greatest, but it does keep you entertained and amused for awhile. Between the major crime syndicate team aqua, stealing/high jacking ship's and trying to flood the planet, and not to mention trying to awaken a super ancient and highly destructive  Pokémon, the story can and does keep you interested in it,so for story I gave the game a 8 out of 10.
Depth- (Sigh),well this category fell far, because the game is not very long and it provides nothing to really do after you beat the elite 4, the only thing it really offers is the chance to catch 7 new Hoenn region  legendary Pokémon. So for depth I gave this game a 6 out of 10
Difficulty-Well compared to Pokémon Ruby, this games difficulty isn't very hard, it's a lot easier to beat. The games A.I. Seems more relaxed then the one in Ruby, to me Sapphire is easier, so for difficulty I gave this game a 5 out of 10.
Overall: Overall I gave this game a 8.8 out of 10, because while the graphics and sound may be top quality, the story and plot and dialog wasn't. The games pretty easy almost a cake walk, so I recommend this game to anyone who isn't looking for a really challenging game that pushes there training skills, I would recommend it to the trainers who want a more relaxed Pokémon game to play.

i. love. pokemon!   rain1
Overall 10/10
Okay, basically, I love Pokémon. I love the games, the cards, the figures, etc. Pretty much everything. Although, sapphire has always had a bit of an appeal towards me more than most of the others. The third generation of Pokémon in the game series is fantastic overall. The graphics are great, the sounds are phenomenal, and the storyline, don't even get me started! No that the personal stuff is out of the way, on to the review.
Graphics 10/10
Personally for me, the more advanced the graphics become, the less I like them. When red and blue came out, the graphics appealed to me greatly, and now with black2/white2, the graphics, though well designed, don't appeal to me as much.  this is why I feel that the graphics in sapphire, ruby and emerald are my favorite. They aren't too old to the point where they have no detail whatsoever, and they aren't too new where they don't give me that feeling of nostalgia like this game does.  the graphics show that when this game was being designed, a lot of work was put into its creation, and I would like to say that a fantastic job was done. Well done Nintendo!
Sound 10/10
Like all Pokémon games, I've always enjoyed the soundtracks. I love listening to how the sounds fit the location and action of your character.  for sapphire specifically, the soundtrack improved very well in my opinion.  the new music is very entertaining, and the sound effects for attack moves are very well designed.  I always appreciate a good soundtrack with any good game.  without it, I feel that the game would never be as good.
Addictiveness 10/10
Like I stated before, I love Pokémon. Always have, and always will.  the third generation is one of my favorites personally, and I always love continuously playing through it with a different team of Pokémon each time. The reason I find Pokémon to be addicting, is because its always up to you.  you decide your team, how you train them, what moves they learn, and everything else.  I can play through this game any time I want, and I can do it any way I wish.  you can make it as easy or as challenging as you want to.  whenever I play this game, for some reason, I cant seem to want to stop until I've beaten it.
Story 10/10
I love the story of this game more than any other Pokémon game I've played.  one major reason is the new villain team that you face; team aqua in sapphire and team magma in ruby.  I love team rocket, don't get me wrong, but the addition of something new really sparks the interest of the players. I love seeing how all of the new aspects in the game make the progression through the storyline so much better.  this story always keeps me hooked, and every time I play it, I seem to appreciate it a bit more each time.
Depth 10/10
Do I even need to explain this one? Its pokemon....thats pretty much all I have to say.  the storyline is decently long, and the progression through the game is overall exciting and appealing.  any Pokémon fan will understand and appreciate this game in its entirety like I do.
Difficulty 1/10
the reason I give this game a 1 in difficulty is because I've been playing Pokémon since I was 5 years old.  at first it was a challenge, but I've grown accustomed to how the games work, and I find them to be fairly easy. To some players they may be hard, but I can honestly say that I've pretty much memorized the storyline of this game.  I can go through the game with pretty much no difficulty at all.
to wrap things up, I recommend Pokémon sapphire to everyone. Generation 3 is obviously one of the better ones made as well.
P.S. In case anyone wants to argue this.... sapphire > ruby

Pokemon Sapphire Review   SmobblePants
~Pokémon Sapphire~
I am very surprised this game does not have great reviews also ruby. I am disappointed because of this, but lets get this review started. Although unlike Pokémon Emerald you cant go to the battle frontier. But its the same but without it, also the teams are different also. In Emerald you have both teams Magma and Aqua In Sapphire you only have Aqua. Team Aqua is a team that wants the whole world covered in water to summon kyroge but that ends up in a fail and ends up in a fury. Basically lets say that kyroge gets angry. Sapphire was my first Pokémon game I have bought in real life. I started out with torchic, and I started out with him once again! The difference from Sapphire and Ruby is that you cant get lotad in ruby but you can in sapphire. My overall for this epic game is a great nine point five.
Graphics is a nine:
Better then leaf green and fire red, the shadowing is better now with a bit touch of black. Although some of the Pokémon's looks in the game didn't look right with others. I know they have improved better when black and white came out, all I know is this game has more pop action then leaf green and fire red back.
Sound is a eight:
Sound has improved once again but my problem is that when lagging the music gets all techno for some reason. Is that is a problem or a glitch within the game. Although I really liked the music in this game.
Addictiveness is a eight:
I came back after a 1 hour break I could stand just watching t.V. Without evolving my Pokémon, or even caught even new ones for Birch. So yeah I couldn't stand not coming back.
Story is a ten: Story was a complete AWESOME just that a team is trying to destroy or even take it over by some force is amazing. I loved the fact that the professor comes in the middle of when you beat Steven after may comes in.
Depth is a eight: The game offers a huge amount of sweet Pokémon action from the home town to the last island. It should at least offered I think a mountain base for the team instead of a under water cavern. Even though they are team aqua it should be revised from team magma.
Difficulty is a eight: The game for me was tough at great points of the time I had. Although I do want it turned down a bit when facing your father. When he tryout his best to take you down to show you have not gotten stronger.
Well this has been a kind of a short review here. But Sapphire is same as ruby but the team is team magma and the Legendary is grondon. I hope you have enjoyed my long review but although short. I think this has been the longest review for sapphire. It did really disappoint me when there was very short reviews.

Pokemon Sapphire   dragon111
Pokémon Sapphire is a very fun and lovable game. This game has great adventure and grand tale Pokémon. This is no remake I don't think and it has another version. Pokémon ruby and sapphire are some really fun game that are kind a related to Pokémon emerald. On this game you go up against the evil team aqua and team magma. You try to stop them from getting the blue orb and red org and trying to end the world in fire and water. You can get the 2 legendary Pokémon rayquaza, and kyogre. The game offers Lot's and Lot's of adventure and all the same you have the hoenn elite 4. Still one more thing you only have the battle tower. You don't have the full battle frontier like emerald. Well here is my review for this game.
My overall rating is gonna be a 9.5
The reason being is because the game could be a lot better than it already is. It's a fun game but it could've been better than I think it already is.
My opinion with the graphics was a 9
The graphics are ok to me but they are worse than emeralds are I think the graphics well I can't say they can do better but they made some people on this game look worse than they did on Pokémon emerald version.
On the sound I gave it a 10
Well in my reviews on almost any game my rating would be a 10. Sometimes I see people saying I hate that song then that means you hate hearing right. So I gave it a 10 because sound is sound if you ask me.
The addictiveness I gave it a 10 unlike the overall rating I really enjoy this game point blank. I just said It's a lovable game that I enjoy in my brief summary. So yeah I love this game and it was meant for me. I don't want to judge anyone Else's opinion who hates this game so I just went with myself.
On the story well I gave it a 8
Yeah it's a good game and all but it's also not that long of a game as well. I enjoyed it a lot beating it and restarting it but now it just got kind a boring to keep redoing it because I have nothing else to do so that's my rating on the story.
On the dept I gave that a 8 as well
The game isn't that long it isn't that hard but same o same o the game is fun. I really think you would enjoy this game and hope you play it from this review but still it doesn't matter because everyone has there deference's and some people agree with each other.
Lastly the difficulty I gave it a 5
The game is a bit tough when you start getting far but other than that this is a pretty easy game based on how you play your Pokémon games. If you like to train a lot if you like to rush if you do it normally and keep up with what your doing like me. I can explain it all. If you like to rush through games you are gonna have a hard time. If you try to take your time you will have a longer journey, if you do the game normally you will have adventured the way the game is made for you to do.
Well anyways see you all later hope you like my review and good luck to all. And also if you do plan on playing this and need any advice if you get stuck or anything you can always Pm me to ask me questions.

This game review is for Pokemon Sapphire!
Sapphire EN boxart.jpg
Overall: The game is good, it has no Pokemon animations like the ones they had in Crystal, but I still like it. It is faster if you press Space Bar. I liked how they put Kyogre as a mascot as it's one of my favorite legendary. I rate this a 9/10.
Graphics: The graphics...um didn't like them much, as the Kanto Pokemon look retarded in this game :P I know since this was the fist time they made GBA Graphics for Kanto Pokemon (Fire red was released later) So I rate the graphics 8/10.
Sound: I like the sounds, but they were the same as Ruby/Emerald. I do like the different battle themes they play whenever you have every new battle, this was pure awesome so I rated it 9/10.
Addictiveness: I play this game time to time but sometimes stick with another game (mostly a DBZ one) so I think this thing should be rated 9/10.
Story: The same story goes on here, your a 10-15 year old kid, you get up early in the morning, your mom sends you outta the house, you catch wild animals in a tennis ball, train them and battle some others. Thus, the story gets my sucking 1/10 lol.
Depth: THIS GAME IS VERY LONG AND VERY HARD!!!!!!! GAAHHH I AM PISSED OFF SINCE I HAVE REACHED FORTREE CITY BY PLAYING IT SINCE 2 WEEKS! So I give this 10/10!
Difficulty: This was a wee bit hard but not so hard but it was hard but still it wasn't but it still was a bit hard for me... lol your gonna make my head explode. This game's difficulty gets 9/10.
That's it for my review! I'll be sticking around for more! Bye bye! :S

I wasn't very impressed with this game. It isn't that the game is bad, it was just very disappointing compared to Pokémon Fire Red and Leaf Green. I do appreciate that this game was released before Fire Red and Leaf Green however after playing Fire Red I was very disappointed about how much better Fire Red was. That aside this game is still good and well worth playing
Graphics - 7/10
The Graphics on this game are well... adequate. I don't like the graphic of your character however the sprites are quite good and I also like the layout of the towns (if they count as graphics).
Sound - 6/10
Once again very disappointing on the Game Boy Advance. However this is the one category that Pokémon Sapphire beats Pokémon Fire Red. The Legendary Pokémon battles music are good but not epic. The music for in game isn't very impressive, as is the in battle music. But at least it doesn't have the horrific Pokémon sounds when you begin wild Pokémon battle.
Addictiveness - 7/10
I will admit that I did end up playing this a lot however I did not come home everyday and immediately turn on the laptop wanting to play it (like Fire Red) however it will take up your time and is still very enjoyable.
Story 6/10
Not very exciting. Team Magma and Aqua I wasn't impressed with. Not much else to say really.
Depth 8/10
Overall there is not much to do after the main game. Then you may be wondering why I have given it an 8. There is only 1 word for it. REGIES. It is so entertaining trying to get them, so complicated and so FUN!
Difficulty - 6/10
Really easy game. The one difficult area is the Pokémon League which is quite hard to defeat.
I hope you have enjoyed reading my short review on Pokémon Sapphire, please rate as your opinion is appreciated.
