How could you people pichu is awesome not only is it yellow it also comes in bite size, normal size, and GIGA SIZE! also there are 4 different kinds. in heart gold there is an orange event one that is as strong as a pikachu! there is also the spiky eared one in heart gold... weak. There is also normal one, and finaly there is a shiny non-event one.

I usually have a Pikachu on my team when I play Pokemon Red/Blue. It is one of the only decent, more good looking ones, in the first gen (not counting stats). I then evolve it into Raichu. It's pretty awesome even if Pikachu is somewhat overrated.
