I hope this isn't something I was meant to discover right away but I was slow. Anyway, today while playing Pac-Man Arrangement on my Wii U version of this Pac-Man Collection game, I realized something about the pills.

Each pill is colored like one of the ghosts and it does Pac-Man's own version of that ghost's power. (The ghosts get their special powers from the dark blue ghost who fuses into them to create their powers.) Here's what I mean:

-The red pill makes Pac-Man speed up, like Blinky does with his power-up.
-The pink pill makes Pac-Man teleport the ghosts to their box in a bag. Pinky with her power-up can teleport to catch Pac-Man.
-The blue pill makes Pac-Man duplicate, just like Inky does with his power-up.
-The orange pill makes Pac-Man able to chomp down fast on each dot, even if it's huge. Clyde's power-up is to spit up some big dots, which take longer for Pac-Man to eat.

Am I just slow to realize this, or did you other Pac-Man fans discover this in less than a few years, hopefully right away? I thought it was a cool thing to share.

Huh... It's been a while since I actually played Pac-Man arrangement, and I don't ever remember realizing that. I was ususally too busy running for my life trying to get the power ups to really think about that. I actually got to the end of that game too. Chances are not too many people thought about that yet. Cool find.

FaithFighter : Thank you! When I discovered this I was running like crazy trying to grab those power-ups to survive because I kept getting cornered or really close to a ghost.

I have beaten the game too, but I used continues. Today I got to world 4 for the first time with no continues.

I remember it because it's on the GBA version of Pac-Man Arrangement also. It really is a fun game, and something that you don't want to take for granted. I had spent many hours on that game, along with all the others (Especially Pac-Mania) on that cart.

ArcadeNerd : That's the only version I can play of Pac-Man Arrangement. I used to be able to play the arcade version at the Nickelworld arcade, but I don't think they have it anymore. Honestly, I think it's my new favorite Pac-Man game! I spend a lot of time on Pac-Mania and the entire Pac-Man Collection game too, it doesn't get old easy

FaithFighter : I'm really good at Pac-Man but sometimes I Pac-Panic (see what I did?) and bump the wrong direction on my controller/keyboard. The most common mistake I make is getting ghost-corner'd.
