As many of you know by now, I've been working on a 24/7 video game music stream for quite a few months now. I've been testing it out on my personal Twitch channel for all of this time but I've gone ahead and made a new channel dedicated to this stream since it'll be 24/7 and I don't want my personal streams to interfere with it.

The chat doesn't currently show up since I have to redo it. I have this stream going on my Desktop now which is my secondary computer. I didn't want to use my Laptop since that's my primary computer and would interfere with site work. My desktop isn't as powerful and I therefore had to switch from XSplit to OBS since OBS is less CPU intensive.

There's a few more features I'd like to add before I make this an official 24/7 stream and start promoting it. I'd like to get most of the following features added:
-Allow users to officially guess on the games with an official scoreboard that keeps track
-Let users vote on having a song skipped
-Add themed segments (which you can read about here)
-Have a bot that posts the song name, a link to the song, and names of users who provided the content used for that specific song
-Random raffles generated by the bot where the first user to click the prize link gets the prize (encourages users to stick around)
-Reward system that tracks how much time a user has spent in the stream which would give them rewards on the site (encourages users to at very least idle)

At some point I'll make it so that the stream is available on more than just Twitch. I'd probably use one of those "stream to all" services that would allow me to broadcast to 1 service that rebroadcasts it to multiple services (saving me bandwitch) which would include Twitch, YouTube, Hitbox, etc.

I will admit, I like this idea myself. If I knew anything about Twitch bots - which sadly I don't personally - I'd be willing to help with that as well. But what I will do is I'll have a look around and see what there is.

Edit: I found this which may be of some use to you: https://beta.nightbot.tv - apparently it's customisable and able to intergrate with the stream.

I can help mod it, assuming keeping an eye on it in general (popping in and out to make sure all is well) is enough, and we don't have to be there for a few hours everyday.

Eirinn : I am sure that any help you can give the owner would be a great help. I mean, I would, but I'm only a member who recently pledged to his Patreon. Plus, I'm a bit rusty with regards to coding, but I remember the basics.

Eirinn : Yeah just keeping an eye on it once in a while, idling in it or just taking action when someone reports something to you. Those things are enough. Preferably I'd like to get it to a point where there's always at least 1 staff member idling in there though.

I could definitely try to keep the chatrooms popped out and floating around even if I'm not on the streaming page. It's hard fr me to multitask on this thing because of how limited on power it is, but a chatroom shouldn't take up much. Username's the same as here. m0ssb3rg935.

Davideo7 : Just out of curiosity, how does song skipping even work? Does it require a certain number of people to say "skip" or what? I'm very confused as to how that will work.

Davideo7 : I've checked the post, and I like the ideas​ you have there. Anyway, any progress on finding a bot to work on there yet?

AuroVee : No. I haven't been able to find a bot that is easily able to be implemented with my PHP script. Nightbot is the closest one but that'll be a little complicating to get working properly. I'll have to set aside time next week to work on it again.

I see. Well, I hope you either find one which works, or are able to make your own bot which works with the PHP script.

The Video Game Music Radio should be finished before the month ends. It's close enough to being finished where I can let it go 24/7 now.
