So a really old show that used to appear on Cartoon Network is now returning march 11 on adult Swim.

Samurai Jack is getting a 5th season and it looks utterly epic.

I'm hyped.


From what I can tell in the trailer; everything that has happened in Samurai Jack has gotten a much darker theme to it; there's blood happening, people suffering and dying in the past&present, jack using guns and so on.


The only bummer about this is that the trailer says" An all New Limited Series" So It may not be around for too long.

Maybe I just have my nostalgia glasses permanently glued to my face, but... there's something about it that just seems... off. I can't quite place it. The one thing I never understood about the plot of this show... 

If Aku could just throw Jack #### years into the future, why not just throw him forward again when he popped back up? I mean, it just doesn't make sense why he would do it once, then decide "Oh, well now I'm actually going to fight and maybe die this time, cause you know, common sense." Lol, just saying  

But yea, I'm psyched to at least see what direction they take with this show. The art style (no black lines between anything) was unique and innovative at the time of it's creation, so I'm really hoping they manage to bring back some of that originality, be it art and / or story-wise, to the new season ^^
