When I was little, I discovered videos of people make these really pretty, intricate shapes and models, using only paper and folding and was instantly fascinated. Since then, I've only managed to to make a few things, but I haven't put a lot of tie aside to really learn it. What all can you make?

I have learned to make the paper shuriken (throwing stars). You are right,it is interesting to take a sheet or two of paper and by carefully folding and tucking,you can create something. I believe in Japan if you can make 1000 healing cranes,you can make a wish,according to legend.

Oldschool777 : I did the same thing when I was younger, but with hard, more cardboard kind of paper. They would HURT when thrown and were made even more dangerous with staples sticking out of the edges. I made a paper crane once otherwise but that was it.

So you did it with construction paper then. Interesting idea,wrap it up in duct tape and if you want to be a jerk,weight each end with a penny or two and then chuck it. Those things would hurt if they caught an eye or something. Now you needed to make 999 more cranes for a wish.
