Michael Bay has directed 12 movies. Steven Spielberg directed 32 movies. Quentin Tarantino has directed just 8 and is ready to call it quits.

Pretty much all of his movies are world renowned from Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction to Kill Bill, Django Unchained, and The hateful Eight, but he's stated that he's only going to direct two more movies and then retire.

He's known for making movies that simply look epic or have a great story to them.

Are there any big fans of his movies? Which movies of his are your favorites?

Honestly, I'm not all that sad about this. I never really enjoyed his movies. They were always well done but I don't feel myself drawn to them or back to them after seeing them.

Doesn't take away from his success or the quality of his movies but I don't really care.

zanderlex : I LOVE HIS MOVIES. HE IS AMAZING. I love the creativity and out of the box imagination of his. He is insane and I love it.
Death Proof was spectacular- that guy got the beating he so much deserved...the limbs flying out of the car scene  I've never put my legs on the dashboard ever since and that's something I did a lot. Planet Terror had me laughing to the point it hurt- the go-go dancer that had her leg ripped off and replaced it with an auto rifle- AK47 I think...AMAZINGLY ENTERTAINING. Watching her walk and be thrown around with that darn riffle stuck to her and the noise she made when she walked just could not stop laughing. He is amazing- From Dusk Til Dawn hands down the best vampire movie that has ever come out- Salma Hayek looked like a goddess dancing with a huge snake wearing a red bikini up until she turned into a nasty looking snake lol. What I love most is the fact that he plays a character on some of these movies- not the lead character but one that somehow is deranged or is not all there mentally. I think it adds a darker aspect to the movie. Sad to see him only direct 10 but, they were amazing. He is my second favorite Director after Tim Burton both creative in their own unique way.

sonicbros : I liked Hateful Eight but always found it to be too hard to get into because of how the beginning is, and it kind of drags during the opening.

My movie professor always talks about his first two lol.
