Many people consider"Paperboy" to be a true NES classic with difficult challenge, but great and addicting gameplay.  And there's others that completely hate the game and make it look like it's the end of the world*Hello Avgn*.

Paper-boy was made and released in 1984 by Atari Games.  The Game was so successful in the arcades,  it got multiple home ports,  some sequels to it, and according to Wikipedia this game was still referenced in some recent movies like Wreck it-Ralph.

Graphics: 7/10
Yes, the graphics on screen of Paperboy are pretty basic; but, it gets the job done. It's what you'd expect from a game about someone delivering papers; you have your houses, your traps, and you even have the annoying dog.  I think this game does a great job capturing the whole open world environment and it actually doesn't do too bad at simulating what a paperboy might encounter in real life.
This game also does a good job on agreeing with the plot.  This paperboy is so famous for his amazing skill and the game proves it as he has crowds of people cheering him onto finish the bonus course.

Sound: 6/10
The main course of Paperboy is the music in this version, it's nice and peaceful; it goes along with the setting of the town in this game.  From what I know at least, there's two songs that play: one song plays in the delivering part of the game, the other song plays through the bonus course. There's just one problem with the sound that doesn't quite keep it in line with the graphics; while the music is nice and peaceful, half of the time you won't be hearing it all that often due to hearing the crashing sound effect that happens when you encounter a trap.

Addictiveness: 8/10
This game is a port of an arcade game, so the objective is fairly simple: get the highest score possible while staying alive.
Your goal is to get as many papers to Sub and Non-subscribers(You break the non-subscribers windows lol) If you fail to deliver a paper to a subscriber or break their property,  you'll lose that subscriber. Sounds simple on paper(No pun intended) but it's difficult due to the traps. Most of the common traps you see coming at you are fairly easy to avoid, but it's the traps that give you no reaction that makes the game hard. For example:  There's an orange car parked in the game, but the problem is that it spawns in at completely random times and kills you because you had no time to react and move away from it.

For me the game gets me upset, but it gets me upset in a good way as I want to continue playing and get better at it.

Story: N/A
Like I mentioned earlier, this is a highscore game; so there's no storyline.

Depth: 8/10
First off,  I will state that your results may vary because this game exceeds at making you do the following: Paying attention, having good reaction time, and it does a good job at forcing you to multi task. The game pretty much won't end unless you die 4 times in a row if that happens, paperboy will call it a day and you'll get your highscore result.

Difficulty: 8/10
The main Difficult part as I've mentioned before is the sheer randomness of the traps,  I've barely been able to get to "Tuesday"(otherwise known as level 2 in the game) and it's still pretty tough to keep going once your deep past the first level.

Overall:7.8 out of 10.
I can highly recommend Paperboy, it's a very good challenging and fun game, and because it's a highscore game; it might keep you busy for a bit.

Amazing review as always crash you did one based on my favourite game! Wonderful. I really enjoyed reading your review. I already had before and didn't reply quickly so I felt I would come back and say my thoughts about it. I should go back to trying to play the game again for fun like I did in the past. Anyways. Again a wonderful review from you, and I'll get to seeing your other ones I know I have missed and not replied on so don't worry about that. Keep on making beautiful reviews as you always do crash, because that what makes them fun to read.

Well "delivering" the papers through nonsubscribers windows is optional but seriously, who plays Paperboy for any other reason than to break windows and hit people? :3 lol

I loved Paperboy and still do. I loved all of it's ports except the arcade original actually. I think the NES port was fixed, but I could be remembering wrong as I haven't played that one in years. Of them all, Paperboy 2 on Gameboy and Paperboy on N64 are my favorites. The 64 version was stupidly cheesy and insanely easy compared to any other Paperboy game, but those two things are part of what made it fun.

Anyway, nice work on the review, man. Good to see a good game like this get a review, especially a nice review that doesn't echo the popular YouTube opinion.

I played this game on my Nintendo when I was younger, and it was fun. I might even still play it on my Game Boy Advance today.

Seriously though, it's a good review where you personally reviewed it and did not have a bias against it or base it off the public opinion.

It's a good game and a good review too.
