Sakura Clicker is a Steam game that falls in to the category of basically being fan service. The Sakura franchise is well known for doing this, though usually in the form of slightly interactive visual novels, this game follows that same formula but in the form of a "Clicker" genre game. If attractive Anime girls aren't really your thing, then this probably isn't the game for you. Anyways, on to the review!

Graphics 9 / 10 -- The graphics in this game are gorgeous. To be entirely fair, almost every single piece of art in the game is just drawn or computer generated still pictures, but none the less they are of extremely high quality. Every thing the game presents visually is colorful, detailed, and has a high resolution. This includes the characters, enemies, environments, and even the gold coins dropped from each defeated opponent. All of your characters are depicted as little anime stills on the one side of the screen which contains all of your menus, and they present a much more simplistic style to them, which is a nice off-set to the high quality of the enemies. Even the artwork used for the player's and allies' abilities is beautifully animated. The visuals are border line perfect for what they were trying to accomplish, earning the Graphics a 9/10.

Sound 4 / 10 -- Here's probably my biggest problem with the game. On the plus side, the music is great. It has a nice action-adventure feel to it, providing an excellent level of tension. I was very pleasantly surprised with how nice it actually is to listen to the music while playing the game. On the down side, the voices used are just incredibly annoying. It's more or less just girls speaking in Japanese ( I think ? ), and tons of erotic moans and / or grunts when you click on them to do damage. And they do it with every single click. So when you have to click a good 75 times to kill a single opponent, you're going to hear A LOT of it. Thankfully the game as an option to turn off both the music and voices if you so desire, so once that issue is silenced so to speak, the game is much more enjoyable. The sound effects are pretty standard, offering the classic "ka-ching" when spending money to upgrade an ally / your self, and doesn't really extend far beyond just that. Since the music itself was pretty good, I'm giving the Sound a 4/10.

Addictiveness 7 / 10 -- This game actually blew me away with how addictive it can be. It is surprisingly fun to just mindlessly click away, or just stare and watch the girls go by as your allies auto-attack in your stead. The game has some thing of an RPG element to it, as you can spend your "hard" earned cash on upgrading either your damage per click, or your allies, leveling either one up. All of your allies have 5 passive abilities that can be unlocked as they reach a certain level. Your main character has 7 that can be unlocked, 5 of which can be used at any given time which results in a cool down period until it can be used again. The game even has a feature where for each new Zone you get to, you can reset the progress earning you the same number of Spirits as the number of Zones cleared. These Spirits can be used to purchase Relics which give you certain passive skills like + 5 % Damage, + 10 % Ally Attack Speed, + 10 % Gold Dropped, and so on. This mechanic adds a great deal of replay value, as you can reset the game ten times over, and still be enjoying your self with the progression of powering up your team. I'm not even a huge fan of Clicker games or Anime girls, but this title just keeps me coming back for more. Because of this, the Addictiveness gets a 7/10.

Story -- N / A

Depth 5 / 10 -- This part of the game is some thing of a two sided coin. On the plus side, the game can take an insane amount of hours to truly complete. There are 350 Zones to get through, each of which consists of 5 Levels. To progress through a single level, you must defeat 10 enemies, and then a Boss for that Level. That alone warrants an insane amount of play time, not even counting all the grinding that must be done to even get that far. On the down side, the game does not feature any kind of alternate modes to play or bonus content. It may be true that there are over 100 + unique enemies you can battle, but every battle also plays out the exact same way. Since the core game has a huge amount of depth to it, but that's the only thing the game offers, the Depth gets a 5/10.

Difficulty 2 / 10 -- Yes, you read that right. It's only a Two. This game does feature a very standard progression in difficulty as far as the enemies go, which isn't really the issue. The problem here is the game is literally impossible to lose. No matter what you may or may not do, you will never lose or experience any kind of game over. The only kind of difficulty increase is the amount of health enemies have, but that's to be expected from this genre, where the entire game is based on simply clicking your mouse. And if all this didn't make the game easy enough, there's still more to handicap the game in your favor. The main example of this is the fact you still earn the in-game currency while you're not even playing the game. Let's say for example you should be earning 50 coins per hour. You turn the game off for 4 hours and come back. Lo and behold, you are given 200 coins when booting it up from the time the game was never even being run. Oh, and on top of all this, your allies attacks are completely automated, doing a certain amount of Damage Per Second depending on the Ally and their current level. I think my last 3 hours of game play I never even bothered to click an enemy once, because it's easier to just upgrade my allies and have them do all the work for me. After piling all this on top of itself, the Difficulty breezes through to a 2/10.

Overall 6 / 10 -- This game makes an excellent time killer for any one who enjoys the Clicker genre or attractive Anime girls in general. I wouldn't necessarily go out of my way to recommend this game, but there's no real good reason to shun it either. Since it's free, it's at least worth a look by any one willing to play this sort of game, if nothing else.

This is one of the dankest games Steam has to offer. I, for one, have 3 years of playtime as of this post. It was worth every second.

I have a few hours on this game, but I had to stop playing it because of one glaring flaw. How am I supposed to click if my hands are busy...?
