I'm trying out a new ad network. Basically I'm replacing the BidVertiser ads with Clicksor ads since the BidVertiser ads paid terribly.

The affected ad spots include:
728x90
160x600
300x250
120x600

If you notice any ads with viruses or nudity, let me know ASAP. I'm hoping this ad network works out because I need to be making more off of the ads than what I am currently.

Are vertamedia.com and optimatic.com part of the new network?
Both of those are giving me security cert issues.

Vanelan : You didn't get any other alerts beyond that though with your anti virus? A security certificate issue might not be too big of a deal.

No, but I figured I should let you know, as that could make some people nervous.
There are already people skeptical about downloading the plugin.

Vanelan : Good point. I'll keep a close eye on this and take action as soon as something serious gets reported. I really hope this ad network works out there. They're suppose to pay pretty decent and I've just not had any luck with ad networks lately.

I honestly have noted a change. Ads are once again "normal", just showing casual things instead of the horrible ads we had a few days ago (which eventually led me to enable adblock for a couple days as it was becoming too much).

The new network seems to have been around for a short time, but still this start gives me good vibes in terms of not showing anything bad. I'll get back here if I see anything reportable, but so far I'm glad about the change.

EX Palen : Yeah those were probably BidVertiser. It paid horribly. BidVertiser made up about 40% of the site's ads but was only earning me around $1 - $1.50 a day. That is just freakin aweful, especially considering those ads were getting 50,000+ impressions per a day.

Davideo7 : Yes it was them for sure. I remember signing up to use Clicksor since BidVertisers ads looked like crap but in exchange their nice ads gave the site viruses. Just saying do not be surprised if one day the site gets viruses from them. You can go ahead and try if you want but I'm just giving you a heads up they are not a very safe ad company to be working with.

I used both BidVertiser and Clicksor shortly after the AdSense ban so this is probably at least 5 years ago maybe longer.

Davideo7 : Whats the deal with Revenue Hits or CMPStar, did those not work so well on Vizzed? I got paid pretty well with Bidvertiser but I'm almost certain it is a CPA (Cost Per Action) platform meaning you only get paid big bucks on conversions which are hard to come by.

JigSaw : I'm still using CPMStar but at a rate of 40% at the moment. I'm looking for an ad network that could potentially earn more than them. They earn an OK amount but I really want to find a network out there that pays better.

I tried RevenueHits but some users complained and threatened to use their ad block. I don't remember what the complaints were but most likely they complained about viruses or something. RevenueHits has been working out for GYR just fine though.

I let BidVertiser go for about 1 1/2 months and it was by far the worst paying ad network I've used on Vizzed so far.

Davideo7 : That sucks, I just don't know if there are any ad networks that will pay well on banners besides AdSense who pays excess of $1 a click. Most of them seem to only pay well on popunders or mobile popunders.

This site may help you for future needs: http://www.adnetworkdirectory.com/

On the left side panel there is a list of largest advertising networks that you might want to try out.

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.

We prioritize the community over the site profits.  This is why we avoid using annoying (but high paying) ads like most other sites which include popups, obnoxious sounds and animations, malware, and other forms of intrusiveness.  We'll do our part to never resort to these types of ads, please do your part by helping support this site by adding Vizzed.com to your ad blocking whitelist.
