The great outdoors is certainly inviting. The trees, fauna, the scent, the scope, it's all just lovely. Going outside can be a blast. You never know what you might find. Every day is like it's own adventure if you seek it. Being outside gives you a change of pace from your otherwise humdrum days. Being inside your house is like a story all of it's own. Home is where the heart is. There's no place like home, indeed. A house isn't just some box; it's a magical place where life is shared and nourished. Many indoor activities may tickle your fancy, such as using your computer, or reading. It's lovely.

Do you prefer the great outdoors or home sweet home? What do you do when you stay at home/ go outside? Thanks for listening.

Inside is okay but there's not much going on. The internet is there, sure, but that's really the limit. My bed, the shower, a dinner table, that's about all that I need there.

I like the outside. I like sports, I like fitness, I like running outside. I'd rather be at a park, or a beach, or doing something active and engaging. There's only so much the internet gives me (Blasphemy on here) until I'm bored out of my mind. It's just the same stuff over and over again.

Sure, outside is similar but winter, summer, fall, and spring change things. I can only go enjoy shoveling snow a few months out of the year. I can only enjoy water parks a few months out of the year. The smell of sunscreen and the feel of gloves, boots, and hats happens only so often. That keeps me more engaged when it comes to the experiences.

I'll take outside. I'll take outside 90% of the time. Even yesterday, I was at a birthday party and I watched the Michigan St / Notre Dame football game on a tv placed on the deck while sitting in the sun light. Then night rolled in and we sat under the full moon and the clouds, drinking beer, being outside.

I like outside. It wins almost every time.

Indoor type. I was never really the outdoorsy type. But I do like parks and just being around nature sometimes.

It depends. I really like going for walks and enjoying the nature. Outdoors is also the best place for taking photos, which I also enjoy.
On the other hand I can be myself at home, play video games and watch anime. But if I feel like doing anything else than that, I will definitely hit the outdoors.

Ultrajeff :
I'm probably more of an indoor person, as much as i play video games and all. But I do have my fair share of the great outdoors. I used to walk to work a lot, back when I worked at Walgreens. It was down my street and on the corner of the main road, and I did not have a car/driver's licence. (I do now). Also, this year, I have done quite a few outdoor activities. Biking, kyaking, jet skis (totally awesome!), Peak'n' peak's awesome tree-climbing obstacle course, and the Warrior Dash--which is a 5k run with 12 obstacles along the way, that will have you scaling walls, trudging through mud pits, jumping over fire, and even swimming!

I used to be very outdoorsy for most of the day. Now, older, I prefer indoors gaming, watching my favorite show, YouTube and working out. It's too darn hot in Florida lol.

I am more of an indoors person. I like being outdoors to an extent, but I love being indoors. I love playing sports and stuff outdoors, but besides that, I'm not really that interested in the outdoors. I love staying inside and doing something on my computer or playing video games or something like that. Air conditioning and heating if very important for me as well. I hate being outside in 100 degree weather burning up or in 10 degree weather freezing my butt off as well.

I guess I am more of an indoor person than an outdoor sadly. I do try to go out when I can at times so then I wouldn't really be at home all the time. I do at most times look forward to whenever I get to go out since it would be to different places. ^^

I am a bit of both. I mean during the summer I like to be out a bit, but if it's too damn hot I like to be in the air conditioning and just relaxing, but if I have yard work I need to get done, or mowing some lawns and doing some side work, I just have to deal with it and be in the hot weather. Right now it's 75 degrees, suppose to hit 83, and that is not normal around here during the end of September. Although it looks like the typical Pacific Northwest weather is going to hit here on Friday...rain rain rain rain rain LOL.

Indoors, definitely!! Inside is where all my stuff is, and i don't really like going outside and seeing nature, or any of that stuff. I don't desire to ever go in a forest, hike, go to a cabin, or any of that stuff.. although it is nice to just step outside sometimes.

You're asking this on an online forum. I think 95% of answers are going to be in favor of indoors so it's probably not the best place to get different perspectives on this sort of question Nevertheless I'll give my two cents.

I'm an indoor person (big surprise) most of the time. I'm a solitary person outside of school and a few friends and very much enjoy and am used to spending periods of time alone at home, where I can relax, feel at ease and engage in most of my favorite past times. It's not that I inherently dislike going outside it's just being inside fits better with my interests and the kind of laid back person I am. Living in the middle of a city where there's stuff going on outside, it is nice because most things I could need is close by ,but I wouldn't want the spend several hours there. If I lived in another area my answer would maybe differ.

I really like being indoors, as it's really nice and such plus internet.
BUT I also like being outdoors because I am actually really hyperactive as well sometimes so if I can like run for like 40 minutes that's great so

I'm more of an indoor person, but in the summer every once in a while I would be sitting out on the deck or walk my dog!!

I would say I lean more toward being an indoor type person, but for the most part don't mind being outdoors either.

Now, I'm by no means the "Hey, let's go camping!" type of guy, but anything short of that I'm all for. That said, I would much rather chill at home on the computer or playing video games over going for a hike or to the park for recreation. I'm all for playing sports or some thing outdoors, I'm just picky about what I would actually prefer doing at any given time lol.

I'm a cross country runner, so take a wild guess.

There are times where I like to stay inside, sure, and I do have a lot of sedentary days, but I call them rest days.

Ultimately, if I'm not running, I'm probably not happy. It's key to get outside, and get some sun. I won't go as far as saying it helps prevent depression, but vitamins from the sun are definitely good for you.

This is probably going to sound really neurotic.

I love the outdoors to an extent. I don't have much of a life offline, but I could live without it. I love the outdoors and the foliage and the countryside and nature but I can't stand some of the bugs, sunlight, heat or cold. I guess the best answer is I really can't make up my mind.
