Grand Theft Auto IV (Xbox 360)
Grand Theft Auto IV for Xbox 360 is a 3rd person, open world shooting game developed Rockstar North and published by Rockstar Games. It was released in stores April 29, 2008. It was the first GTA game in the series to release on Xbox 360/PS3 and be developed using RAGE (Rockstar Advanced Gaming Engine).
Graphics: 8/10
Developed by Rockstar using the fairly new RAGE engine. This game delivers good graphics and gameplay. Compared to today's visual effects, its fairly good and BIG improvement from its predecessor. Past GTA games, San Andreas, Vice City etc., used the old engine, Renderware. Because of how big this game was, graphic wise, there were a lot of glitches and bugs in this game, a few rendering issues. These issues were almost never fixed and wont be in the future. Physics in this game was an improvement but a bit cheesy at times but still most of us loved the rag doll physics and you could kill people by just pushing them (I have done that). Overall these graphics are pretty good and funny in a way. It was the first GTA game to have ragdoll physics, basically the player or NPC could have some physical contact with about everything in the game, as simple as getting buddy tapped by a car (and getting pushed over) or face planting into a building. In conclusion the only real problem with the graphics is the console trying to render it. Sometimes the game tends to lag when trying to attempt every little detail in the game but that’s fine due to the game be very big and buggy. I mean it is the first time developers using RAGE for a vast open world, like this, they did good.
Sounds: 7/10
Can we all agree that GTA IV has the best intro music? The intro music is called “Soviet Connection” as said on the GTA Wiki. So Grand Theft Auto IV has a wide variety of different songs and genres in the form of radio station. This game has Hip Hop, R&B, Pop, Rock, Jazz etc. Whats new to me is the Eastern European music station Vladivostok FM (try pronouncing that), this station most likely came to be because of the character “Niko Bellic” being from the part of Europe. So if you ever want to go on a road trip around the city, you at least to listening too. Lets talk about other means of sound in the game, like the weapons. I bet a lot of you like shooting weapons like the AK47,M16A1,UZI.
Addictiveness: 9/10
Nothing new or clever to say about how addictive this games. Like all great goods, it addictive and you will play it multiple times and for hours in one day. Especially for those want to complete the story 100%. Even after that you could play the story again or do multiple activities in the game by yourself or with friends, I know some of you are annoyed Roman constantly calling you during a very intense moment or you just don’t like him, but yeah this game is never ending, there’s always something to do way after the story ends. Yes that does get boring, doing the same thing over and over, just start a new save if you want, or have fun using various cheats if not done already. I sure you all enjoyed playing this game.
Story: 8/10
Have you guys ever noticed how a lot of the mission, your just chasing after someone on foot or in a car. It’s like you just got from a foot chase in one mission next thing you know you’re in a high speed chase in a heavily populated city. I know that kind of gets repetitive. That’s almost most of the storyline right there, but let’s start from the beginning. You play as Niko Bellic, a Eastern European man, fresh of the boat, ready to start your new life in Liberty City after trying escape from your past. Soon you will find out that the “American Dream” is not all what it used to be. You’re going to get caught in some dire situation, whether its saving your cousin Roman from being killed, being hunted down by others who want to kill you, and trying to find the person who betrayed you long ago. That’s basically long story short but it’s a very great story and it doesn’t end the same either. You have control over the turn of events. You might let some people live or die.
Depth: 8/10
Open-world shooters like this will always bring great value like this and Grand Theft Auto IV is no exception. It’s a very addictive 3rd person open-world, shooter and it’s just a good, even better than its predecessors. It has such a great story and it never ends the same, based on what you choose to happen to certain characters in the game. It’s even more enjoyable to try to be the game 100%, and you know that is not easy. Let’s not forgot about Online Play. You get to create your own character and compete against others in a team or alone in other words, free-for-fall. I don’t know much more about Online since I started playing GTA 4 online when it was pretty much dead. It is an old game but still have a lot to do. Don’t forget about the cheats and how simple it was to use them. Its like you have the power to do anything in the palm of your hand. So Grand Theft Auto IV has a lot to offer.
Difficulty: 10/10
This game had no option for difficulty. It was more skill based difficulty and whether your character was ready to get in another gun fight. Some of does mission are pretty hard and will take you many attempts to complete or you just like fooling around a bit. What’s even harder is completing 100%. Its just more than the mission. There are various side-missions and even objects to find, birds to kill and bridges to fly under and there hidden all over the city. All I could say is….enjoy trying your best.
Anyway that’s it with this review and I hope you enjoyed reading it or just posting here for Viz and CP.

Its funny how I never played this game. This is a really good review here I guess like I stopped playing gta games, since for me the new ones really didn't have much to offer. I prefer the old ones such as San Andreas, vice city or gta 3 I felt I wouldn't really get into the new ones when I saw them on youtube. I guess its not for everyone some will like it, and some will not.
