So guys how many of you guys apart from me hate the kitchen bins? I do them because its a routine that has been built in within me to do when I should do them. But, I just really hate doing them. I have to do them not because I am told to simply because if I don't the whole house will stink, and then my mother will come down thundering down on me with her endless complains. So do you guys hate this chore? I rather do the dishes than the bins to be honest. :/

Twice or three times a week I get the job of emptying the bins. This isn't a problem at my mom's condo, but at my dad's house it's a nightmare.

I could be gone for a day after emptying the trash and the bins would be brimming full the next day. That includes both the organics bin and the non organics bin. I have no idea how it happens or why, it just does. I guess my dad and sister are just really wasteful.

But I get some strange enjoyment out of taking out the trash. Maybe it's just natural, removing the filth from your abode.

IStillSeeTheX : I see I wouldn't want to step into your fathers house to do with that....yeah I never thought about this I sometimes get that too because it would be a while before another bin gets filled up? I dunno maybe its just me. I've gotten used to the point I have to do them as I said I wouldn't want my house to smell badly that's what keeps in my thoughts for when I don't want to do it to remind myself if I don't the whole house will stink. '-'

Living in my own house means I have to do it myself... and yes. I hate doing it.
I think I would rather do that instead of dishes tho. I find touching dirty dishes to be very disgusting even though its food I ate earlier. ^^;

Vanelan :  The dishes may be disgusting that I can agree with, but to help the plate be easier to clean. I always put any excess of food left into the bin so it wouldn't be so horrible looking. Everyone has a different point of view when it comes to doing the dishes.

I just read the book Flood, written by Stephen Baxter, and I'm guessing the term "Kitchen bins" means trash cans. I inferred it as well from the description of the stinking of the kitchen.

I take pleasure in keeping the house clean and doing it before my wife takes out the trash, or does the dishes. In fact, I know she strongly dislikes dishes so I do those while she's settling the girls for bed.

I don't mind the chore. Bad smells don't bother me and we have bags that simplify the trouble of the trash. We also don't generate all that much trash so it's not something that happens every day. And the kitchen smells good all the time.

I like to bring order to disorder. I like how much lighter the house feels when there is no trash lying around and there are clean bins, to use your phrase. I like the way I look good and my wife brags about me to her friends because I'm aggressive over keeping the kitchen trash, the recycling, the bathroom trash, and the rest of the house in mostly good order.

I don't mind it at all. It's not my favorite but I'd rather do the work and keep the house clean.

Ghostbear1111 : That's pretty much understandable. I don't like doing it, but its something that needs to be done. It puts a smile on your face to see like when you look back how clean that kitchen is since you wouldn't have to worry about the bins until the next time around you have to take them out. I have a sister she LOVES cleaning lol like really she does. I think if she wanted too it can be a job thing for her she can get into. She hates anything she sees dirty.

I don't mind taking out the trash except when it rains or whatever. But it has to be done,unless you want the city to declare your home unfit for habitation. Now,bear in mind,one of my first jobs was a dishwasher and the first thing I did when I show up is empty the trash from a huge trash can and there are times that the side doors on the dumpster were not an option,so I would have to stoop down,grab the can at the base and the other hand on the top and lift up to toss it over the top. And that would easily be around 50-70lbs. of trash. (22.68kg-31.75kg)

Oldschool777 : Yeah that's the thing you hate it but it has to be done. No one likes a smelly household. Hey that was the same for me too! Then I think bins came 2nd or 3rd for me I can't carry really heavy ones but, I still do regardless since its only like me and mum in the house. So mostly I would be the one doing the bins, and all. And that sounds like a heavy type of trash you take out. @.@
