You can use either a controller or your keyboard. In the bottom right, or left, cant remember what side exactly, it will show you what controls you use. If you press either Esc or double click using the mouse, depending on witch emu you are using, you can configure the controls to your liking. I hope that helps, if you have any other questions or if the problem continues, than feel free to ask. (:

I think it MIGHT be possible to use the keyboard, but for now I am going to say that you need a controller.

I recommend the Logitech F310 since it has enough buttons to map to all the buttons you need for DC.
And to avoid problems in the future when you do get the emulator up and running, leave the date and time as default. For some reason I found issues with saves when changing the time.
