I honestly prefer RPG's,but I also love RTS's. Other than that,happy voting!

Feel free to explain why you prefer the genre you voted for as well,just please remain polite,this poll is just for fun.

I like RPG's a lot more than RTS's mainly because they tend to have a much better story,plus you can build you character up and better yet....collecting endless piles of loot! Even if it is just piles of junk,loot is loot!

The other reason I say I love RTS's is mainly because of games like Total War:Empire,etc any other game like that,but they tend to lack in story,but I can become bored of Rts's after a long period of time of playing the game. They're pretty fun though,but for me it's Role Playing Games for life! lol

Other than that I just felt the need as to why I like the two genres. Though I can't say much about FPS's but that's just me mainly,I barely play any of them anymore,but they can be pretty fun,when I wanna play them once in a while.

If I had to pick a single genre, I would go with RPGs, but I really love all three of them.

RPGs tend to have what I look for in a game more than any thing else, which is probably why I prefer them. I love the ability to choose how your character ( s ) develop, on top of the fact they generally have the most immersing stories. More so than other genres, they also have an open world concept more often as well.

I'd Say RPG's.     FPS games are nice, but I can't stand not being able to fight back because players tend to camp and kill you when you spawn up.
RPG's like Paper Mario, The Final Fantasy franchise, and more simply are a greater single player experience and excell at story telling.

I really like RPGs, but I'd have to say that FPS is my favorite out of the three. I never cared much for RTS, excepting the flash game "Mud and Blood 2".

Also, I'm going to move this to Polls and Questions. It's a better fit and will get more traffic there.

I prefer RPG since in my years that's the most games I have played and to be enjoyed of as well. Something about RPG games always catch my attention for it myself because of a certain gameplay of the game. Maybe the storyline or how the characters just looks. For shooters it will come in second for me, but first has always been RPG games.

I don't like any of these three all that much. I'm going to say FPS's', though.

That's simply process of elimination- RTS's' are like more confusing, overwhelming takes on my beloved strategy games, while every RPG I've ever played was a boring, plodding grind fest. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place but that's just my experience.

Yes, there's not too much meat to an FPS but they're just dumb fun for times when you can't find anything else to play. Nothing wrong with that. Unless the game sucks but that's a whole other situation.

I prefer Rpg's. I have been playing them my whole life and I always get more content and always have more things to do unlike a FPS or a moba. Plus most RPG's are immersive as hell and most also have a compiling story to tell. 

Out of those three genres, I'd say that I prefer RPGs the most. I don't really play first-person shooter games all that much, but I can have fun playing them, even if I'm not good with them. I don't really know if I've ever played any real-time strategy games, so I can't comment on how I feel about those games. I have played many RPGs in my time, and I can't really say I've played one that I've outright hated. I love RPGs for the stories that they tell, the satisfaction I get from having my characters grow more and more powerful, and the immersion that I feel when playing them.

I prefer first person shooters over many different types of games, so FPS games are by far my favorite of the group. While I do like many RPG games, and honestly play more of them, FPS games have more of a feel of adrenaline while playing that you don't always get while playing RPG games. FPS games are a lot more exciting and get you involved more, and normally have more team strategy. I don't play many RTS games at all so that one isn't really one I consider to be one of my favorite types of game.

I prefer RPGs. I like playing RPGs and I can get invested into them a lot more than the other two genres you listed.

I never liked first person mode in any game, so I don't really like FPS's, and I was never good at RTS's so that's out the window as well. I have a rather open mind when it comes to games but those two genres are the two that are my least favorite.

I'm an RPG guy. Always disliked FPS games like COD and I prefer the casual story part of games a lot more than having 'skills'.

I'm almost always in for an RPG. I enjoy levelling up and seeing the numbers keep getting higher and higher. I've also played RTS games before, but I don't play them regularly due to how complicated they can be. I don't play any FPS games due to how toxic people can be in these types of games.

I just love FPS games (probably got that one from Kackarot: ). I always have. Maybe it's the thrill of looking behind your shoulder to see someone throwing a grenade and having to act quickly. I just don't know.

RPGs, especially action RPGs. The gameplay of an action RPG to me defines the perfect kind of gaming, especially if it includes a skill tree.

Plus I love stories and RPGs tend to have a nice story focus, though so do turn based strategy games and a few other genres.



I've played very few (like one maybe) real RTS games and I did love it, but again the action RPGS blow anything away to me, plus the story factor in the RTS I played was pretty weak. Still it was fun. The game I played by the way was Great War Nations: The Spartans. The naval battle was horrible but the rest was mostly fun.


FPS I can't stand so yeah.
