I have a question for you all. We all have a certain game or so that we would just absolutley love to see. No matter what company it's through, what franchise it is, or maybe something entirely new. There's a game that we really want...but it doesn't exist. What is it?

For me it would be an epic Mario 3d adventure with an in-depth story that makes really good use of all mario characters. It would be sort of a mash-up of Super Mario sunshine, Luigi's Mansion, and Super mario galaxy. Preferrably something that does not involve rescuing a helpless princess. Really! You would think after Peach shows up in Super smash bros, the number of times of her getting kidnapped would go down. Also, I would appreciate voice acting for everyone.

Sigh...If only.......

I'm guessing that a lot of people would want this, one massive Pokemon game that has all the regions, or even one that has multiple new regions in one game. That would be amazing.

zanderlex : That would be pretty sweet. What i think would be even better though is if they made just one game, one open world rpg game styled after xenoblade chronicles. You would be able to find and befriend pokemon as opposed to having to attack them to get them on your team. With all sorts of interesting sidequests and battles, being able to see every pokemon. Not this silly you walk into the grass, therefore pokemon attack business we have going. All types and type effects would remain in place, but instead of turn based it would be more live action where a pokemon's speed determines how long it takes to recharge it's attack. I have some other ideas too, but sadly most of them would most likely be rejected by the people who like pokemon just the way it is. It would be metroid other m all over again....

I'd love to see in the future a game where all of the Nintendo worlds are connected (similarly how Kingdom Hearts connects Disney worlds, same thing but Nintendo style :3), and the main protagonist is you. You customize your own hero, and you even create the villain! All of the nintendo villains team up with the main antagonist, and you befriend the main nintendo protagonist

zanderlex :
That is an awesome idea. I would love to see it done in a way where each region can be explored in any order you want, so if you get tired of Kanto half way through, you could just make your way over to Johto or Sinnoh on a whim, and start there / pick up where you left off. Or of course the same concept but with multiple new, meaning 3 or 4 +, regions to explore in a single game. I would
adore the "open-world" concept implemented into a main stream Pokémon game as well.

And you could set the levels up some what like how Skyrim is, where all the Trainers, Gym Leaders, Rivals, etc are all on a level scale system that increases as you level up. You could slightly tweak the formula that calculates their levels depending on who it is. For instance, a normal trainer would be "Your Avg Level x .9" or some thing, where as a Gym Leader could be "Your Avg Level x 1.25" or some thing along those lines, ya know? That would be an AMAZING thing to see in a Pokémon game, and would completely remove the factor of making the game so easy most of the time. And of course, this formula would be based on your current Pokémon in your party, not those in your PC, or maybe have the formula weighted so those in your PC don't have any where near the same impact on determining the foe's levels. This way a bunch of low level Pokémon in your PC won't effect your foe's levels ( bringing them down essentially ), or in the case of switching Pokémon for type advantages, the enemies will always be balanced to what is currently in your team, almost like how the anime depicts the series ( no matter what Pokémon they use, they all seem to be about the same universal power-level for some reason ha ha ).

I realize this would be really hard to pull off, and would take a ton of work to make sure it's balanced right, but I would get back into Pokémon in a heart-beat if this concept was ever put in to the games lol.

I ranted on too long... I'll make a post later about what kind of game I would like to see made lol XD

greenluigi : That's actually a really cool idea. I'd love to see something like that.

As for my game? It's hard to choose just one. A year ago I would have said a legitimate sequel to the first Toejam & Earl, but that's finally happening now, twenty+ years later. Then I would have said a Harvest Moon that returns to the series roots and actually feels like Harvest Moon again, but it looks like Seeds of Memories is doing that, so...

Can I pick a few? :3 If so:

For an existing (but dead) franchise
Bushido Blade 3. The first two (especially the second one) were amazing and revolutionary, or they would have been had the rest of the game world caught on to the great innovative ideas in them. Not sure why they never made a third one. It would be amazing.

OR

Future Cop L.A.P.D. 2
Only if it had a heavy emphasis on Precinct Assault mode. Awesome game in that mode. Main mode was meh.

If I'm allowed to post in here again despite breaking the rules in my first post () then I'll definitely have more.

Eirinn : Your cool. I don't really think I set up any rules, unless you were referring to the toejam and earl/ harvest moon thing. But yeah, more ideas are awesome!!!

Someday, I would like to see a Virtual Reality game or world where you can either customize your own character, be yourself, be an anime character or a video game character, and anyone can join from any part of the world to be able to talk and complete random quests. Quests could be added by just about anyone, and there could be arenas for you to test your builds against those of others. You could pretty much do anything you want as long as you can imagine it. You could go on quests to fight historical battles (with realistic historical weapons including tanks and molotov bombs), eat and taste "food" cooked by people from other parts of the world, gather materials to build your own dream house after purchasing some land somewhere even in a different solar system/space (import your own custom textures and stuff too to live in a glowing, blue mushroom), capture mythical creatures (or Pokémon) and become their pets =P , date an NPC after you customize it to your liking or have it join your party to help you level (wonder how many people would actually do that oO;; *cough Japan's maid robots cough* ), sprout wings to fly up too high and glitch yourself in some random data slum that you'll need help to get out of, or randomly start to dig a hole from the new player's base/spawn point until you accidentally hit water or lava and end up flooding entire towns (you'll burn yourself too though oO;; ). Now that I think about it, I'm probably trying to describe the craziest and most impossible multi-player online game in the world. oO;; In anime terms (for whoever might actually understand this), I think I'd love to see a game that's like SAO (minus the deadly parts) + Accel Word + .hack + SSBB + Pokémon + Minecraft + Terraria + Starbound + DDR + MMD + well, the list goes on. (Since you didn't set a limit on what we could imagine for this game, I decided to dream big... maybe a little too big. ^^0 ) If anything, I hope to be able to see a game like this before I turn 80. rofl If a game like this is created only once I reach 80 years old, then I'll be that little old lady that's always walking around and pulverizing or catching creatures or trying to fly to new undiscovered islands and getting herself stuck in a house at the bottom of the ocean. =P

Yuna1000 :
Your game sounds like a blast and an incredible game experience. It would also be the ultimate crossover. I love the creativity and high hopes of your dream game. We are pretty close to virtual reality being the main thing now, so you never know!
