I recently installed Vizzed RGR Plugin. Whenever I play a game like Pokemon  Fire Red, it says I don't have the plugin installed even though I do. Everything is up to date as well, Flash etc. When I load a game like Fire Red, I get the dialog box Vizzed Flash Plugin Creation Failed, and a dialog box in my desktop says Couldn't find browser window. I just tried downloading the Plugin onto my computer, then made sure that the browser was closed during installation so no problems would happen, I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling, plus different browsers. Nothing works! Help!

hmm, that's not good. Just curious, what browsers have you tried using? If you haven't tried using Firefox, then try using that. If you're already using Firefox, then I'm not sure what to tell you. Someone will be able to give you the answer you're looking for.

Have you tried going to the next latest version?

For some users, the latest version doesn't work. But the previous version does.

Did you run the installer as administrator?
Have you restarted your computer after installing?

So as I'm running Windows 10, I uninstalled RGR Plugin v2.41, and installed v2.40, again making sure that my browser was closed during the installation. I tried then to open the games in Firefox, and I still got the same error that the Plugin wasn't installed. Then, surprisingly when I tried it in chrome, the thing actually worked-- well, sort of. Essentially I opened the game in a popup window, but the only thing playing was audio, so all I had in front of me was a black screen with the Pokemon Firered intro music. The I found another thread which explains what to do for users who experience a black screen with only audio playing during games. Essentially I just had to uncheck "Use hardware acceleration when available" in Advanced System settings under System in Google chrome Settings.Thanks again for the help.

GmanLovesCars180 : I'm pretty sure saves are stored locally, not online, so if you're on a different computer then you can't retrieve them.

As Someone70 said, the saves are locally saved.
So yes, you can transfer them.

They are located in 
C:programdatavizzedvizzedrgrpluginUser-402249
Basically, copy that whole directory over to the new PC in the same location.

That folder might be hidden, so press windows+r and type (or copy/pasta) the above location into the dialog box.

This happened to me on Fire Fox at first with the black screen and only sound. You have to click Allow to let plug in run the right way. I forgot where that is exactly but will try to find out.

Oops I just saw that you fixed the problem. I don't know how to delete it so please ignore.

Vanelan : Hey man, I have no clue why, but a went on the game a couple days later, and the same problem that I had earlier happened again, with the same error messages and dialog boxes, though the settings and Plugin Versions are however the same as the ones I had after the problem was fixed, so this absolutely doesn't  make any sense. Really frustrating and confusing.

I don't think it's the Computer, because I tried this on another computer, and I had the same problems and everything. So chances are, several other users who recently download the plugin are having the same problems as me.  Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that both the computers run Windows 10, and on the Plugin Download page, I don't recall it mentioning compatibility for Windows 10, only Windows 8.1 and lower. Or it could be that the download page with that info wasn't updated and it could just be another problem.

I'm on Windows 10 and it works fine for me.

Have you tried a fresh install of the plugin? Run the installer and click "remove" then open it again and install.

I'm often seeing threads recently about the RGR plugin version 2.41 not working, and I can't help but feel responsible for the confusion. See, Version 2.41 was only supposed to be a fix for 2.40 not working in Internet Explorer. I was talking with tom760 the plugin developer for a while through emails and chat before he released 2.41.

I brought the info to Davideo7 about the new version and told him that it was a fix for Internet Explorer not working and should be an optional link (like the links for previous versions in the RGR Plugin download thread). In other words 2.40 should be the official RGR plugin.

Anyways with Windows 10 and the plugin not working I'd suggest trying the Opera browser.

Vanelan : I did that again and it worked. Thanks! The problem this time was that for some reason, when I chose to play the game in the same window instead of playing in a pop out window,it did something beyond what I can understand, and altogether made the plugin stop working. The solution was to not play in the same window as where I clicked on the link for the game, and instead choose a popup window to play it.

I didn't realize you were playing on rom.online... it shoulda occurred to me since you said you were playing Pokemon Red.

That site works differently from vizzed and has its own little quirks.
Since this is answered, I will close this thread.
