Yeah, the newer Final Fantasy games I've seen look pretty fantastic, and I've always had a soft-spot for Sony systems. I just haven't taken the plunge and spent the cash on a new system...yet!

I completely forgot about Secret of Mana, so thanks for the reminder. I am not very familiar with the other titles you've mentioned, but I agree with you that SquareSoft/Square Enix games are typically pretty good.
