I use a PS4 controller to play games on Vizzed without DS4Windows. All you really need to do is plug in the controller and just configure the controls on the emulator.
So, on Vizzed you don't need DS4Windows

Any particular reason you don't want to use DS4Windows?

It seems to work well and gives you full PS4 controller functionality, including the touchpad.

I've used Joy2key for everything personally, it's older version was better though, I've even mapped my controller as a mouse.

PS4 controllers are great, I wouldn't be too worried about what you use to map keys because it's still far better than a keyboard.

pennylessz : Did you do anything other than plug in the controller for it to be recognized by joy2key?
I thought there needed to be a DS4 driver of some sort for PS4 controllers to work...

Vanelan : I'm not sure I've actually used it on my computer before, but I've mapped plenty of other controllers, I particularly use it on my tablet actually. Despite that I heard PS4 controllers break easily, I still think they function marvelously.
I've gotten the ps3 eye to work on a computer, so I'm sure there's a driver for it.

pennylessz : I'll have to give it a try on a PC I don't have DS4Windows or any other related controller drivers that I manually installed and see what happens.
