Then in high school I've faked it simply to get out of having to do annoying things (like skipping sports day). The only time I've faked illness due to the workload though would have to be last year. I ended up having to cram during the last spring term to be able to turn in an essay which left me no time to study for an exam so I faked a fever. I've gotten good grades nonetheless but I try not to skip school anymore since I want to break my habit of procrastination to some extent since it becomes very stressful and leaves little time for a balanced life.
