So I'm interested in applying to the University of Oklahoma - Tulsa because my mother grew up down there, I liked it when she took me a few times & I wanna go back. I looked at the program I'm interested in applying to, but the problem is, it only accepts applications for Fall semesters & there's a VERY good chance I'm graduating undergrad late & that I will be a fall graduate.

I will apply when I need to but my question is, what can I do to fill time between the fall in which I graduate after and the fall in which I start at that school, provided that it accepts me and I decide to go?

What if I don't get a job? I don't want to sit around all day!!

& right now, I'm a lower junior in undergrad, but my counselor and I both agreed that there's a good chance I'll be graduating late at this point.

xxeliza321xx : I did volunteer work for a month to accumulate hours for more scholarship opportunities. I also joined clubs and did volunteer in some activities- all of these helps create experience and build your curriculum. I also suggest finding a job so you can also have workforce experience. There are recruiting agencies that provide you with free training and certifications, interview training and also resume building all of which comes in very helpful! Good luck!

I think it's important that you're productive with your time and you're improving yourself.

1.  Volunteer - You can find volunteer opportunities at the YMCA, hospitals, or the library.  This is good for a resume builder and it will get you a chance to get outside the house and go explore things you might like.  People always need help and they're always looking for free labor.  Go experiment and see what tickles your fancy.

2.  Fitness - Go exercise and get used to being outside.  Learn or read about fitness, start walking 2-3 miles every day, bring an element to fitness to your life and enjoy the benefits of feeling good.  Walking is an underrated exercise and the summer (I assume you  live in the northern hemisphere) is a great time to go try it out.  It's free.  Go outside and walk for 40 minutes every day and see what a difference it makes.

3.  Read - Get your hands on real books from the library or a book store.  Read fiction, educate yourself, experience the world from the view of others.

4.  More? -  Basically, you've seen 0% of the world.  Find a way to discover it.  The entirety of human knowledge is at your fingertips on the internet.  Don't spend the next month looking at pictures of cats.

You can always read or study. Calm down and think of your personal interests.

You could be a volunteer, you could take a course in another field of study for a short time, you could start making contacts and seeking work.
