I never post, and I don't know if I'm making this in the right place, but I want to know if anyone on Vizzed is a Trump supporter. If you are, I would like to know why you are. I'm really trying to understand why people support this man. Please be respectful to other people's views and opinions. :^)

I'm neither a Trump supporter, nor anyone's supporter. I honestly do not care about politics at all, to me it is full of lies and corruption and I try my best to steer clear of it. Though I'm fine if anyone here supports any of them, even if I don't like any of them at all.

I don't understand it either. For every 1 remotely sensible thing he has said it seems like there are 100 that are bat crap crazy.

Also, there is part of me that thinks he didn't expect to last this long. Like, he wanted to test the waters for maybe a future run but didn't expect to be this popular this quickly.

I really hope he loses to Cruz. I don't agree with everything Cruz says either but of the Republicans left he is by far the more reasonable of the 2.

I think the reason people support him is that he doesn't seem to have a filter... its hard to get honesty from a politician, so if they blurt out whatever is on their mind, they seem more honest than the politician that uses scripted or party line type answers.

I don't know where I stand right now... so I probably can't be a voice of a Trump supporter, but from hearing how he speaks, that's the most logical answer to me why he has so much support.

I don't plan on voting but from my perspective Trump is more of a symbol that represents everything that people are tired of seeing in politicians and society. That's why he's popular. He's speaks his mind even if what he's saying is unpopular. Thus he's anti political correctness. He has his own money and can't be bought by businesses like most politicians are so he's anti money in politics. He doesn't really have a great amount of allies in the republican party so he's anti establishment. He's the grenade that you throw into the water when you're tired of not catching any fish. Our government has reached the point where businesses run everything. They buy the politicians and so it doesn't really matter what the voters want. Trump is the ultimate FU to the politicians who have largely been ignoring and manipulating them for years. Because he's the grenade If he wins he'll basically force the political establishment to change how they operate or risk another grenade being thrown in. People who support him aren't really worried about him being president anyway because he won't be able to get anything too crazy passed into law anyway.

In contrast Clinton is the ultimate establishment choice.

To be honest, I don't entirely support him. Thing is, the election looks like it'll end up being between Trump and Hillary, the worst candidates for both major parties. Now, you can talk all day about how bad Trump is, although I don't agree with all of it, but I just find Hillary so much worse on several fronts. Less trustworthy than Nixon, changes her position on issues at a moment's notice depending on what's popular, and I just disagree with her politics on multiple points.

Of course, my opinion doesn't matter very much since I'm not even old enough to vote, but at least I'm training myself to objectively look at each candidate so that I can make an informed choice in the next election.

Rather have Trump than traitor, actual murderer, actual rapist, liar, conspirator, treasonous Hilary.

I am not for Trump, I despise all of these candidates. I really wish there was a vote to cancel all these people, and have a do-over. But right now the choice is really like choosing whether you'd rather be hit by a train, or be hit by a train and thrown in an unmarked mass grave.

I don't support him. I also think there are just no good candidates to vote for in this election.

I do not trust the future of this country to a man that went bankrupt 4 times. And he honestly thinks he can run a country,much less meet with foreign dignitaries? I really do not think we have any good candidates. But if I had to vote for either front runner,better Trump than Clinton.
Hillary was quite possibly the worst Secretary of State,allowed Benghazi,and had a damned brain clot doing the job,yet she thinks she can perform a harder job. 

To answer your question my impression is that Trump appeals to republican leaning voters who are tired of the establishment. For all the crazy things he's done he gives the impression of really meaning what he says and of not being afraid to go against the establishment if need be. Him essentially making people use Islam and Muslims as a scapegoat is another thing that works in his favor since people fear them due to not really knowing much about them. You haven't really seen any candidate even on the republican field that's been so adamantly talking about that as him. Some also argue he has some more democrat leaning views like in terms of healthcare so that may lead to him also being able to sway some independents/centrist voters. Or even democrat voters if Hillary becomes the democratic nominee since she is essentially a symbol for the establishment.

Problem of course being that's he a xenophobe. Someone who would likely destroy US international relations. By wanting to build a wall and having Mexico pay for it because of their dependency on them. Not realizing China could use the exact same reasoning due to owning so much of the US debt and thereby bankrupt the US. Just like his companies went bankrupt 4 times. I'd also just argue that he doesn't know what he's talking about a lot of the time either. The list goes on and on really.

I'm of course a Bernie support if one hasn't figured. He's a non establishment candidate and a socialist. Though Americans seem to be so afraid of democratic socialism or think it's so unrealistic when you see it working already in many western countries. Think people have had their view of socialism as an ideology twisted by the US media. But that's just me.

I dont suport Trump for the statement against Muslims or against Kosovo but my prime minister is a corrupt,delinquent,He has imprisoned the poor,It has increased taxes, etc etc.....for that I wish that Trump win and my prime minister leave his office.

I agree with Trump on some things. Like when he says "Mexicans are..." like yeah. We Mexicans exist and truly are you know?
Or "Women have..." like yeah man, we have come to a point in our society when women actually have many things.

To be honest. Out of all of them I think Ted Cruz or Bernie Sanders should win since they are the least likely to go and start a war with other leaders and make random people build a wall for no reason. I still question what Donald (I do not have enough respect for him to call him Trump) will do if Mexico says no. I mean he is supposed to have them give us something for nothing. They will most certainly disagree and he will wonder what to do afterwards.

awesomeguy279 : Probably cut off our trade agreements with Mexico which would cost them more money than it would take to build a wall. America has enough economy influence in the Americas to put pressure on them.

Also there is a clear reason to build a wall. Immigrants coming from the southern border have been a huge problem for the country. Democrats don't really care because they tend to vote for Democrats but it really hurts the poor people and teens in the country when people who will work for very little money take the low paying jobs. They also have a habit of sending money they earn out of the country to their families back home which drains money out of the economy that would have otherwise been spent in America. The question is whether building a wall will stop the problem. I think it's better than doing nothing.

I live in the UK and it's been interesting to watch all the events of the presidential election develop. As an outsider, it seems to me that there are no good options left from either side :/

I Just hope hilary isn't the next president; trump would be a better candidate. But then again, none are good candidates.
