So I just bought a new hybrid PC in order to keep up with today's gaming standards. Here are the specs of the old and new:

OLD
ACER EXTENSA 5635ZG
Intel Pentium dual-core T4400 2.20 GHz processor
NVidia GeForce G105M graphics card
250 GB storage
Windows 7

NEW
SURFACE PRO 4
Intel Core i5-6300U CPU 2.4-2.5 GHz processor
Intel HD Graphics 520 graphics card
235 GB storage
Windows 10 Pro, latest updates

Now here's the problem I face:
On the old PC all games using the RGR Plugin had their screen size set as normal, being fully covered  by the blue frame (now I don't know how it's going on there, since I scrapped the old PC). However, on the new PC, this happens: the game screen size gets shrunk by a lot and is placed in an awkward spot. This happens on EVERY game on EVERY emulator. I tried everything, from updating the plugin, Java, Adobe Flash and the system from changing the browser from Chrome to Firefox (Microsoft Edge is too slow to open itself), but nothing works at all. If I try to use the Alt+Enter trick to go fullscreen, even when using Mednafen, it still doesn't work: window keeps being bigger than the game screen and the taskbar is still shown.

Also, I tried playing Sega Rally 2 for the Dreamcast using the NullDC emulator that came on Vizzed. On normal circumstances I should be able to double click so I can access the menu and register my XBox 360 controller, however, the NullDC screen gets stucks for 2 seconds then it closes automatically, and I can't figure out the cause.

Any help would be really appreciated.

Cheers,

Are you maximizing the game window when you play?
I have seen instances myself where that causes odd things to happen to the placement of the game screen.

Unfortunately, I have limited experience with the Surface and Intel HD Graphics to determine if its a hardware issue.

In regards to nullDC and the controller issue, do you know if windows is properly recognizing the controller?
If you press windows + R and type in joy.cpl, does it show up in the list?

It could also be your screen resolution. Go to the desktop, right click, and click on display. Make sure that that text size is on reccomended and the go to advanced and make sure your screen resolution is also on reccomended. Hope this helps.

Vanelan : No matter how the window is placed or maximized, the problem still occurs. As for joy.cpl, Windows recognized the controller in OK state.

osazemccurley : All of the settings you mentioned were already on Reccomended (200% and 2736x1824) even before posting this thread.

If I could attach a picture of the problem it would help me a lot explaining what is really going on, however, no such option appears on the post/reply menu. Wonder why...
