When you get bored of a world, whether it's survival, creative, or whatever, what do you do with it? Do you simply stop playing on it? Do you destroy it all with TNT? What do you do?

When I got bored of one of my older servers, after hundreds of hours of playing on it, I started cheating. I started switching to creative just so i could get a few stacks of TNT and then I would switch back to survival. Then I would dig straight down to bedrock and in a direction, I would mine by using the TNT to create massive caves and then I would mine whatever I would see.

What do you do once you get bored?

I either stop doing whatever I'm doing; give it some time according to the extent of my boredom, or I try something different.

Out of all the past instances of both of the above -for Minecraft-, I usually go with the former. But some examples of the different things I've tried include running my own server, playing on modded servers (like tekkit), or playing with friends.

I've only ever used the Vizzed server, and being an Admin on the server has kept me quite busy for close to 2 years now. Still, I've also kept busy with a few different games at the same time, to ensure I'm spreading myself out so I won't lose motivation. Right now, and for just over a year, that has been League of Legends.

I generally just stop playing the map. Though I almost never play regular survival maps. I either play CTM/adventure maps or I play hardcore so that if I die the map is done and I have to start over. Saves me from this problem.

As for server, I just stop playing for a while. Usually I am excited to play again after not going for a while.

Also, it's more fun to play with someone so quite often I'll find someone to work on something with which helps.

There is one of two things that cause me to lost interest in a server.

1. Just getting bored with the server and just doesn't seem interesting to me anymore
-or-
2. Due to a lot of stress outside of the server that cause me to lose focus on the server (which happened to me on the Vizzed server)

zanderlex : I'd probably up the servers difficulty to make it less boring either that or get extremely creative and try to remake a popular scenery from scratch like the Eiffel tower in Paris or Italy's Leaning Tower of Pisa you can make it smaller then scale or make it true to size it is entirely up to you

Usually i hope on a server or just pull up a minecraft building tip video. I try to make sure my builds are perfect in creative. Then i change it to survival and see how long i last...i usualy last a couple of hours before i get bored and switch to server

Can't say that I've ever gotten bored with a server so much as the game, usually I do something else for a while like watch a few building or maybe some let's play videos. And if that doesn't work, I play another game for a day or 2 just so I can remember what it was like not being able to totally change a landscape.
