Who was better TGCD or Playstation 1 ? Ok I know that Playstation 1 has more games but for me TGCD (for games that had) was more attractive.

Not really something you can compare. PSX was way more potent than the TGCD, they belonged to very different generations.

I didn't get to play the TGCD, but the games I've seen for the TG are quite good, some even pretty advanced for its time. However, the PSX was also advanced for its time, and on a whole new level from the TG and its peripherals.

So yeah, I don't think you can really compare different generations in terms of being better than the other.

The correct answer is of course 3DO.

TGCD was an add-on that used dated hardware. Its like comparing Nintendo 64 to Sega's 32x.

I will admit though, even though they had a limited number of games, a large percentage of TGCD games are fun. Not so sure that could be said about PSX. ^^;

PSX,they are still around and TGCD is just another memory. But TGCD was more like another Sega CD,and we all know how that went.

PSX had the more well known games like Final Fantasy 7 and Castlevania Symphony of the Night. TGCD only had Castlevania Rondo of Blood. Personally, I prefer the PSX only because I like the games on there and it's more well known.

TGCD was a cool system for it's time, but there's no way I can compare it to a system that had better hardware and processing underneath. Similar to what Vanelan said, that's like comparing Super Nintendo to Playstation.

Also, the TG platform didn't have as many great games. Sure there are some solid titles for the platform, but PS1 has like HUNDREDS of great games to play.
