I need some new rap suggestions! I like it for working out, or just hanging out at home. I find that I can't be in a bad mood when I'm listening to rap so it's my "go to" when I'm just in a blah mood.

A few examples I have are:

Mobb Deep (Have A Party)
50 Cent (ft the game - hate it or love it)

If they're truly wanting to get into rap/hip-hop it's a must that you listen to classic albums like:
Nas- Illmatic
Jay-z Reasonable Doubt
Biggie- Ready to Die
You can find most classic albums just by googling it.

However, it seems that you seem to like more pop rap so you'll probably like these songs:
50 Cent- In Da Club
Eminem- Love the Way You Lie
Lil Wayne- A Milli

If you're looking for work-out rap you can't go wrong with:
Eminem - Till I Collapse, Lose Yourself, Soldier
DMX - X Gon Give It To Ya, Ruff Ryders' Anthem
Mobb Deep- Survival of the Fittest, Shook Ones Part II

I would recommend:

Geto Boys (old school, very aggressive feel. Great for working out- great example is Still)
Jadakiss (a bit obscure but also very "strong"- start off with Kiss of Death)
If you don't mind trap try B.o.B.(Magic) and/or Kendrick (newer stuff, like Alright and These Walls).

There's a lot more including Grandmaster Flash (The Message), M.I.A (Paper Planes). ,and Afrika Bambaataa (Renegades of Funk) who I also enjoy but the above come more highly recommended.

Some rappers I personally prefer would be as follows:

Childish Gambino (I like the songs "Sweatpants ft. Problem", "Telegraph Ave", and "Sober". Though I think you may like the songs "Sweatpants" and "Freaks and Geeks [this song is rather explicit so fair warning]")

J. Cole 

Logic (Give "Young Jesus" a listen)

Kendrick Lamar (His album "To Pimp A Butterfly" is on YouTube)

Rap Monster (He's a Korean rapper. He has a mixtape out and he's originally from a K-pop group, but some of his raps are in [non-broken] English, most aren't. Either way, I like listening to his raps.

Though, for the purposes you said you listen to rap and from the rappers you said you listen rap I think you may not like some of these rappers. Regardless, check them out and see what you think.

There is also one that is partially rock, but includes some rap, which I also like listening to. It is Remember the Name by Fort Minor ft. Styles of Beyond.

Anything by Tupac, or Bone Thugs N Harmony would be good to go with. Some of their stuff can be more on the depressing side, but a lot of it is inspirational and will get you hyped. I don't listen to a whole lot, so those would be the main 2 I'd point out. Rappers now a days don't have the insight or "intellectual" aspect to their music the classics like these guys did. It was about more than just "gettin' booty, gettin' tipsy and stackin' paper" back in the day lol. That being said, the only rap I'm ever exposed to anymore is mainstream.

There's a rapper I used to watch called DeStorm, he's kind of cool, I also personally like Eminem but just about everyone knows about him, so I don't need to explain that.

I especially like DeStorm cover of Amy Winehouse's Rehab song, he turns it into a rap, and it's great.
