Since last month or so, I've been experiencing some failures when attempting to play any game. The loading process stopped at "Detected Vizzed Service Loader", and the screen was fully grey. However, this usually didn't last much, after a few "cool down" minutes it went up working again like normally.

Today, however, it has reached a whole new level. For over half an hour, I've been trying to play different games, yet none of them worked, all stopping at the dreaded "Detected Vizzed Service Loader" process. Doesn't matter the game, system or emulator used, not even the option used (play game, no chatbox, spend 0 Viz), it refuses to go beyond that grey screen.

Anyone else experiencing this issue? Any ideas on how to solve it?

EDIT: After nearly ten hours, the problem still exists. Not even turning off the antivirus has worked. I'm starting to guess it's beyond my reach.

EDIT #2: After more than 24 hours, I tried unstalling and reinstalling the plugin and got it to work. Still, I would like to leave this open until answers come, just in case it happens again.

EDIT #3: And back to square one again, barely two hours after re-installing the plugin. This is starting to become a serious issue.

EX Palen : Does restarting fix the issue?
I have run into a similar issue where the plugin didn't close on exit.

Try closing any game you might have open then check the task manager to see if there is an "RGR" instance open (besides VizzedRgrServiceLoader.exe, leave that one alone).

Alternatively, try restarting and see if that fixes it.

Vanelan : I did notice in the log that the game took several minutes more to close after I closed the game window when it failed to load. I'll check the task manager if I ever encounter this problem again and see what I can find.

After reinstalling the plugin, however, it downloaded the ROM again, even though I didn't delete the already downloaded ROMs. I haven't played any game since, a bit busy with real life, but I'll tackle the RGR again this weekend, probably the re-download worked.

I also planned on switching browsers. When the game re-downloaded, it appeared as a tip that sometimes the browser may be the issue. Since I mainly use Chrome and it has had several problems in the last year with the plugin it's also a plausible solution.

And I'm afraid restarting won't work if the problem remained for more than a day with the computer being several hours switched off in between. I lose nothing for giving it a go, though, so I have quite a few possible solutions to test out in the weekend.

Vanelan : After having a weekend clear of issues, I've experienced this again today, and tried everything we both suggested.

There's no other RGR plugin instance open besides the one you mention, and I've already restarted my computer, but Chrome keeps not working. I tried going Firefox, and surprise, it works there. So, after all, it's a Chrome issue, just like I was guessing after all the problems we had to make the plugin compatible with that browser.

I'm not happy that the issue is with Chrome, since it works way better than Firefox. I also hope this issue is just on my end, we've had already enough problems with Chrome so far.

EX Palen : Chrome seems to work fine for me except when that issue occurs, and its very rare. Even then, I dunno if its a Chrome issue. Its more like a plugin issue.

Vanelan : If it's a plugin issue, how can you explain Firefox works right when Chrome doesn't?

Also, I have to try a bit more, but probably the "well-being" of the site also influences. When I tried on my last post, the site went down like 10 seconds after clicking "Play Game", and when it rose up again I tried to switch to Firefox, only for it to directly go into "Gateway Timeout" for a few minutes. However, as I said above, this doesn't explain why Firefox works just fine and Chrome doesn't.

I probably won't use the RGR again until the weekend, sp probably I encounter the problem solved by itself like happened last time, though last weekend the site never went down for me and thus fuels more my theory of its "well-being". Still, now that I know Firefox is a way around this issue I won't lose days worth of work.

EX Palen : I meant when it happens to me.
I am not sure why it would be like that for you.
You could try uninstalling and reinstalling Chrome and see if that fixes it.
