Singelli : I thought you'd never be back, but it seems like your life has changed a bit for the better. I guess doctors make mistakes just like the rest of us. Also, your baby is very, very cute. and so are you

First of all, it's great to see you back! Even if you're not officially returning, it's still great to have you here again once in a while. It's great for the community and since you have the most trust points of any user, you owe it to us to stop by once in a while (jk about the last part).

Anyways, congratulations on your son and congratulations on being pregnant with a 2nd child, that was even more unexpected that you making this thread. Hopefully you're able to take it easier this time being pregnant compared to the first time.

Having to resort to the epidural is completely understandable. My wife went into both pregnancies hoping to not have to resort to it but the pain got so unbearable for her both times that she was practically begging for it once she was in labor. I don't think anyone would ever expect any woman to go without some sort of pain relief.

As a parent myself, I'll give you 2 pieces of advice that come to mind after reading through this:

1. Be sure to cherish every moment with your babies (well Joel for now until you introduce the other to the world). At the time it seems like being with them is going to last forever but within no time you're looking back missing those special moments with them. Kids grow up and change incredibly fast and if you don't spend enough time with them, you're definitely going to regret it someday.

2. This kinda goes with #1. Be sure to take lots and lots of pictures! If you have the ability to record them then record as much as you can as well. You definitely will not regret doing these things later on because eventually you're going to want to look back on the different phases of their life. My wife and I have always taken lots of pictures and recorded lots of videos of our kids (although I get progressively more lazy or forget to record videos which I'm always regretting) and it's always amazing to be able to unwind once in a while and look back at various moments and memories and this is especially awesome to do around their birthdays (and we usually create a video and/or picture montage for their birthday parties).

Anyways, congrats again and thanks for taking the time to share all of that with all of us.

I keep trying to respond to this thread, but every time I try, something happens, and my post gets swallowed up or I lose my train of thought, or I just get frustrated. haha. I am bound and determined to make it through this thread, no matter what! I came back on the second of February, and I think 27 days is long enough for most of you to wait for a response (not that any of you were probably holding your breath ).

I did find the idea of this thread a little overwhelming when I first returned to vizzed. There were many users who pm'd me and said "I know who you are!" without me having any inkling as to who -they- were.  The apparent fame made me want to hide under a rock and made me wonder if coming back would be more of a chore than a pleasure. (And hopefully it's obvious that I decided on the latter.)  I really want to re-kindle my old vizzed friendships and begin new ones with everyone else.  I love vizzed users, and they are treasures I keep close.  I will always appreciate, too, that they have patience for my untimely replies.  I mean, I used to get around 20 pms a day, and it seems as though that number has not changed by much.  Sometimes if I post around and don't respond to your pms, it's not because I'm ignoring you or placing less value on getting back to you. It's either that the list is overwhelming, or I believe the pms deserve more of my time and thought.

Chindogu :
I've probably typed your response the most since you're the first one in this thread. So I feel like I've said this a million times, even though you're seeing it for the first time. haha!  Thanks for the congrats and I could not obviously agree more. I mean, there are a LOT of awkward looking babies out there, but the poor things can help it! Being birthed is such a traumatic experience, that I'm sure more come out funny looking than come out adorable.  I had laughed with my sister-in-law about this, saying that even if my baby was ugly, I'd have to say he was cute just because I'm his mother.

I feel so blessed (not that appearance is important mind you) to be able to actually SAY he's cute and not be biased about it.  I could stare at that precious face all day and not get over how adorable he is.

Getting a job here was just another blessing.  I won't deny that in the process, I was so miserable that I swore I never wanted another baby.  It's not that I had any of the normal symptoms (nausea, food cravings, back pain), because I was also blessed with a VERY comfortable pregnancy.  However, I did feel very, very alone and extremely stressed out. I don't know if any period of my life has been more miserable.  After Joel was born though.... well, now I could honestly have 20 more babies and be exuberant about it. The joy he brings into my life cannot even be described.

I know we never really got around to talking much, but like I said.. I'd love to reach out and make more friends with vizzed users. If you ever want to chat, don't feel afraid to hit me up! I consider myself pretty easy to get along with.

gamerforlifeforever2 :
There isn't much to respond to your post... but thank you very much.  I'm surprised if you did indeed think of me since we didn't talk much... hehe!  Maybe that will change over the upcoming months. Good luck on your mod campaign!

Sword legion :
I'm very glad you stopped by my thread, as you know I hold a great respect for your beliefs and how you stand by them. I know that yours aren't often popular, and that even we two don't always see eye to eye... but your determination is still admirable.

Thank you so much for your compliments, your warm welcome, and your confidence in me as a vizzed user / mother / human being in general. haha! I had actually forgotten until a NON-vizzed user reminded me... but I recall certain users referring to me as the 'mother of vizzed'. The term of endearment, I hope, will be befitting of me again.   Even though 20 pms a day can get overwhelming, I enjoy the fact that people feel as though they can come to me, even with deep topics.

And I love vizzed, but never fear... I will not let it come between me and my family! Nothing is more precious than the two (three!) I share my life with, and if I ever feel like vizzed is stepping across lines, I'll politely and lovingly take my exit.

God is indeed good, is He not?

mrfe :
You stalker, you! *wags a finger*
I wanted so badly to surprise you, and you had to figure things out yourself!

I will forgive you, but only if you train 5 Chinese llamas and send them to me right away.  I doubt I was sorely missed, but it's nice to know that I might have left a teeny, tiny gap in things. It means I made an impression, but wasn't so crucial as to leave a gaping wound by taking my departure.  -Nobody- should ever need me THAT much, right?

You truly made me laugh with your "I made dis" comment. That's EXACTLY how I feel.  I've even said it a few times in wonder, before correcting myself and saying "No, GOD made this."  I could never take credit for such a gorgeous creation!  God has certainly been good to me and I can't wait to catch up with you some more.  *nudge nudge*

MrBeingcool1 :
You were one of those people who I didn't know, but we got to chat a bit before I officially returned, and you seem to be making your own impact here in the blue screens of vizzed. I hope you continue to be an awesome user and to keep making friends.  Of course I remember you and CH7 and Makayla.  The chat rooms have never been my stomping grounds, but what an eager young group you are!  I actually enjoyed chat and didn't feel like leaving after a few moments!

And yes.. yes I am having another child. I was told for years that I wouldn't be able to get pregnant, and God is totally shoving that into those doctor's faces.

I actually hadn't seen your edits until now and had a small giggle. Yes, that PS user must get more summons than anyone on this site. It's quite humorous.

EX Palen :
Thank you for the welcome back! I could be mis-remembering, but it sure seems as though you have become more active since my absence! I mean, you never were that inactive, but I see your name everywhere now! As what I consider to be one of the more mature users, this is a huge pleasure to witness.

The two pictures you pointed out are two of mine and my husband's favorites as well. I've taken so many pictures of the doll that it's impossible to narrow my favorites down to a small number by now.

I might create a poll closer to May, since I'm assuming that's when I'll be able to know the gender of the baby.  I personally don't care whether it's a boy or girl, but my husband wants a girl.  Having a girl would be easier since we already have her name picked out!

RDay13 :
You're such a sweetie!   You've known me for more than a few days now, so I hope your opinion stands.  I've REALLY enjoyed getting to know you, and I hope we can hold many more conversations.  It's hard for me to stop by chat often since I'm constantly down and up to take care of Joel, but maybe we can talk more through pm.    If you ever need someone to talk to, or perhaps a vizzed favor, know that I'm a person you can turn to!

geeogree :
It's hilarious how many people have said the same thing as you about their close ages.  However, I have many students who practically swear by the opposite, saying that they hate being so close in age.  I just know that for me... it means I won't be betting a full night's sleep for like.... more than a year. LOL  Thank heavens I handle lack of sleep well!

Thank you for taking the time to hit up my thread; you've always been a wonderful fixture of vizzed and it always feels like an honor to talk with you.

zanderlex :
I know I know I know, right?!?!?! *GASPS*  Can he get ANY cuter?!?!

We've talked via chat numerous times so.... I guess I'll just gush some more....
OMGOSH HE'S SO FREAKING ADORABLE!

Jordanv78 :
It is indeed growing! I never knew it before this year, but apparently babies that are born within a year of each other are called Irish twins.  I've always thought it would be cool to have twins since I'm a twin and my father-in-law is a twin.  Maybe this counts?

Thanks for stopping by my thread as well. You and geeogree are both awesome, and I've always had a high amount of respect for your maturity and ability to remain polite and neutral. I know there was a time when we didn't see eye to eye, but you never made me feel any less respected than any other person on vizzed. You're amazing at what you do and know how to make everyone feel appreciated and welcome.

Pokefreak219 :
OMGOSH, you're still back!!!  When are those talks going to happen?!?! I'm so glad you get to be a regular part of vizzed again, as your absence was torturous. We need more of your giggles and laughter! Catch me up on your life!

PacmanandMariofan :
Oh gosh, I hope they get along as well!  It will already cause some tension, I imagine, that there birthdays might be right on top of each other. hehe.  What if they were on the same date?!?!  :O

Thank you for the prayers: Hardly anything is more powerful!

Also, I'm glad your absence wasn't longer than a month. We need great users like you to hang around and keep vizzed's quality as it is!

Tyrian Delirium :
Don't worry. I wasn't expecting enthusiasm at all from anyone, really. hehe. I'm just another user and many new guys aren't even familiar with who I am. Actually, I'm surprised you took the time to stop here at all, so that gesture alone means a lot to me. Thank you so much.

I doubt you do (and don't blame you if you don't), but if you ever want to know each other better, don't hesitate to reach out.  Whatever happens, keep being you.  We need you too.

MattyIce :
Matty! I missed you so much!  Another mature voice of vizzed, I've enjoyed our discussions in the past. It doesn't seem you are posting around as much, but maybe we can feed off each other as I get re-settled into these forums?  Also, I'd love to hear any updates on your life.  You're such a wonderful person, and I'm so excited to be back in touch!

I hope the next one is cute as well, but I'm worried I might die from over-guffawing.  I think I am nearly convinced that dying from cuteness-overload is a genuine possibility.

Oldschool777 :
Oh my gosh! I think I've forgotten about just how many mature users are here on vizzed and how terribly awesome they are!  What wonderful conversations we've also partaken in together!  2016 is definitely seeming to be my year, though it is not without its stresses and hard moments.  I am pretty sure my school is under common core, but I've never allowed that to affect the way I teach, honestly.  I haven't been called out on it, either.

As for another couple of vizzed users in some years, we'll just have to see about that.    I don't know how I feel about them being on screens and at what age.  (Yes, I might be one of those horrible parents!)  Anyways, if you have anything new to share, hit me up!  I've always valued what you have to say!

Barathemos :
YAY!!!!! *selfishly hogs all the love*
Thank you!
I love you too!
WHEEEE!

*hands out little snippets of love guiltily*

deg2000 :
omgersh, your post made me giggle! I was shocked to see so much enthusiasm in your response to me since we never talked that much! Thank you SO much!   And it's okay if you scream... I'll scream right along with you. haha!

Joel absolutely IS great, by the way. Not only is he freaking gorgeous, he has the BEST temperament of just about any baby I've ever seen.  He is almost always giggling or smiling.  I'd bomb everyone with more photos, but I have to practice reigning myself in.

Vanelan :
Awww, thanks so much! I have to admit, it is super cool coming back to vizzed and seeing your name in brown.  You totally deserve it though. I've seen how much effort and thought you put into the people here, and I'm uber-impressed.  I always say that vizzed gets better and better, and it's people like you that make that true. Thank you for all you do here, and may we see your name in brown for quite awhile longer! I don't know how you have so much time and energy to invest in these people, and I hope they show their appreciation!

November Joy:
I have to admit something terribly, horribly embarrassing.  I've been on vizzed for nearly four years and often seen you post around. I don't think it was until you responded here though... that I actually realized your name was blue. For -whatever- reason, I had ALWAYS thought you were a girl! When you said I was cute, I felt a bit thrown off, and figured it was just to be funny.  I've never considered myself good-looking, but that's beside the point. I went to your profile to look at your age and stuff and it then dawned on me that you were -male-. Where was -I- over the past four years?!?!

So now I must ask for your forgiveness for being such a silly, silly goose and never having paid you much mind before.  I see that you are much more active than you used to be, so I feel like I'm slowly coming to know you through your posts. You seem to have a good head on your shoulders and who knows?  Maybe one day we'll be swapping pms?

Thanks for your response, and I hope your day is as lovely as you made me feel. It was a good laugh at myself.

Davideo7 :
(Whew... almost there!  It's only taken me about an hour to get this far! )

I will never, ever understand how my trust points have grown so high, but I'm sure they will be overtaken eventually. In fact, it might not even take that long, considering you are ONLY the best user of this site ever.    Thank you for taking the time to stop by my thread... I might have held my breath waiting to see what you'd say.

I'm pretty sure I'll be able to take it easier this summer, because we're here in Enterprise and I'll actually have access to a car and stuff.  Last summer was definitely stressful, but luckily my pregnancy was smooth anyways.

I think I want to try to avoid the epidural next time again, but I won't feel as bad giving in, either.  It means the world to me that I was able to consciously be a part of Joel's birth, and I'd happily take on the title of 'wuss' if it means having that experience again.

As for your advice, thank you.  I don't know if I could cherish the moments more as things are... and you know, I kind of think that being a teacher has prepped me just a little for parenthood.  Over the past 8 years of teaching, I've gone from losing my patience with kids to realizing that they are... after all, kids.  I think I can be more understanding of their mistakes now that I've seen how teenagers act and think.  I also hope that I ALWAYS take lots of pictures. My mother felt bad after all the pictures she took of me and my twin... so she kind of dwindled off with my younger sister and younger brother.  Now that we're all grown, she regrets it quite a bit.

I don't care HOW much people may mock me... I can't -stop- taking picture of the little fella!  I take on average (probably) 4 or 5 pictures a day... and since he's 152 days old... well, I'm sure you can do the math.   Pretty soon, I'm should start moving them all to my external hard drive.

Thank you for the congrats, and moreso.. thank you for making EVERY member feel valuable by things like responding to their insanely long return threads.

haitamchouiekh :
Your username has always made me thing of a tongue twister for fingers. hehe.  What happened to the days in which we used to talk more often? We should start that again.  Thank you so much for your kind thoughts and comments.  I'll try to stay around for awhile this time!

Vizzed Ghostblood :
You're the last!  My fingers are dancing in happiness with that thought.

I'm so glad you were happy to hear of my news. It's so wonderful to think that people I'm not even close to can be lifted by positive updates. hehe.  We have not talked NEARLY enough, so maybe we can change that.

I will try to stay healthy, but it's harder than one would think, on my budget.

I'm going to hang around... I just might not be as obsessively active as I once was.

(And to everyone... normally I hound my posts for typos and things that don't make sense, but I used my free period to FINALLY knock this off my vizzed to-do list.  I got a ride with my husband today, so I can't just idle around to clean any mistakes up.  If something is unclear, let me know and I'll polish it up. If I've said anything crazy or offensive, please assume it's a typo.    Thank you for any grace you find for my aching fingers!)

God bless!

God bless!

My word, you had a lot of people to write to. But I liked that you wanted to give a personal reply and not just some blanket reply. It does surprise me a bit,I guess I am guilty of underestimating children, but some can be very intelligent and thoughtful and that does give me hope for the future. Nothing worthwhile is ever easy, whether it be teaching, raising kids,or working out. If it was not without challenges some of us would not care to do them at all. As for the common core thing,I have just heard all kinds of terrible things and how they want teachers to teach things that are just crazy. For the couple more Vizzed users,I want you to decide when and if they can use it and for how long. I would love it if you were the "terrible" responsible parent. Then your child(ren) would be responsible and thoughtful as well and that would make all the difference in their lives.

I agree with Oldschool, that is really nice of you to post a reply to each person who replied to you. I also wanted to thank you for your kind words about me.
