On Friday, 1/29/2016, from 4 - 7 PM (central time zone) we'll all be listening to and rating the songs submitted to the Modern Video Game Music Competition. Around 30 seconds before each song is done, I'll put up a poll which will allow everyone to vote. I will be hosting this event on my Twitch channel and I'll be giving away a total of 200,000 Viz and $200 Steam Games to random viewers of the stream so the longer you stick around and vote, the better your chances of walking away with a cash prize. To qualify for the Viz prizes, all you have to do is vote on the music and follow my channel.

If you can't stick around for the entire thing that's fine but it'd be cool if you could stop by and hang out in the chat for however long you can. It's usually a lot of fun chatting with vizzed users, talking about video games and listening to awesome video game music.

This will probably be the last time I host a music stream and competition like this. All future music competitions and streams will be a bit different.

Oh, you can be sure that I'll definitely be tuning in for this. Although I didn't submit anything, I always enjoy voting on the submissions. It's really fun, too, interacting with other Vizzed members over a stream. I'll be at my dad's house while this is going on, and I don't think we have anything planned during the stream, so I'll be there. I look forward to it!

I'm pretty excited for this. I'm thinking that I will probably be able to attend most of it as well. Should be fun! I look forward to seeing everyone there!

I've been thinking about the part where you said future music competitions and streams will be a bit different. Will future music competitions have something to do with the new Video Game Music Room? It would be a nice touch, in my opinion.

This will be the first time I do one of these things. I tend to avoid chats, but I have been on Vizzed for quite some time and feel guilty. I have a little social anxiety (on the internet!? How weird) but I am pushing myself to try something new... I followed your Twitch to find out but other than showing up and following your Twitch, do I need any other requirements. I may not be on the site all that much, but Vizzed is on my bookmark toolbar and I show up every now and then to see what's up. I hope you don't mind that this comment is useless, but I was concerned that it needed like hardcore Vizzed hours to be eligible.... I also have cruddy luck when it comes to RNG and polls and several times when I enter a random number drawing to get a Steam game I never win...

What is that in Eastern Time? Was just curious, this sounds pretty cool, so if it's a time I can make I will try to make this event sadly I missed the last event. The new event sounds interesting so can't wait for that to see what it entails. And it's always fun discussing games with others, I get a lot of good games to try when I talk with other people that game. And sometimes games I haven't even heard of.

I might be able to make it to this stream for at least a while, but I can make no guarantees. I might be using the day to get ahead in some classwork coming down the line.

Any idea on how many different raffles there will be over the course of the stream?

I might be going to the gym after I do my work at around 6 PM eastern, so I might be able to stick around for the first 60 to 90 minutes of the stream.

cooldragon1990 : I've got pretty bad social anxiety as well but I've never really had it while chatting online. I sometimes do voice chat streams and those are real tough for me due to my social anxiety. Anyways, thanks.

Well, I won't be there for the first hour and a half, but I'll try to make it after that. It's too bad that I wasn't able to make any submissions though. I would've liked to make some 3DS, Wii and Wii U submissions, but I don't have any capture cards...

gamerforlifeforever2 : It's just great if you can make it for a little of it. I don't ever expect anyone to stick around for these entire streams since they can sometimes be long.

About the music stream, I missed it completely lol, I went out in that day, maybe next time.
