Spring seems to be a bad month for releasing video games, because the only thing that happens in spring is delays. Last year, you had GTA V for PC getting delay after delay and this year it's Uncharted 4, which has been pushed back by more than a month from March 18th 2016 to April 26th, this is after multiple delays pushed the game back from its original 2015 release.

Of course all the extra time allows for more development of the game, so hopefully it's better than what it would have been without the delays.

Yeah I saw this announcement too. Really though, I'm somewhat glad to see games get delayed these days because it shows that the developers are willing to put more work in to ensure a finished product. It sure beats the trend we're seeing with companies *cough*Ubisoft*cough* releasing more and more broken games that won't work right without a patch. And the worst in recent memory? Fallout 4. It had an announcement for a day one patch before it ever released! Seriously? They knew it needed more work yet they shipped it out still? That's just sad. :/

So yeah, it's a bummer to see UC4 get delayed again, but I can appreciate that they're making sure it's finished and the best it can be before selling it to us.

indeed, this is why I prefer retro games, one of the many reasons: you don't require an internet connection to play and it won't need to have thousands of patches.

I agree with Eirinn...while I don't like waiting longer for a game to released, I would rather not download a patch on day 1.

Although, I don't really agree with Luigi...some retro games REALLY need a patch...since that isn't an option, we are stuck with old buggy games...

Vanelan : Yeah, some games do need a lot of fixing up on retro, but what I mean, is that they couldn't make many software revisions (they could but it was harder back then), so they couldn't ship it completely broken.
Although SM64 is really broken because you can complete it without having one star, I'm surprised they never released a patch for most of the glitches.
Imagine if in a few years' time they were forced to release early prototypes because they couldn't be bothered to complete them on time or delay their time...

What's more to say here? eirinn has stated the obvious. But I will say a few things its good that games are getting delayed but I hate waiting like any gamers would do for their fav games to come out. If the developers of the games rush it as we know. It will well...we have seen what has happened there on some games. They have to be delayed for a reason that would mean the game would be better, and well polished up. We don't want to play a game that wasn't well loved and looked after once made. But other people are at fault for the rush, and to say hurry up and then the game wouldn't be what it should be. '-'
