So this thread is my TEN THOUSANDTH post! WOW! I can't believe it!!!

Although I probably should have this milestone already, I went a good portion of my early days not really posting very much in the forums. I still am happy that I've been able to get to this point.

It's been a long and fun journey with many of good conversations to be had (especially about video games!)

Many of you reading this thread have helped contribute to these conversations and I just want to thank you for all the great times.

Here's hoping the next 10k comes that much quicker!

10,000 posts!!!! To much for me.:'( I will probably only ever get to like 5,000 and that will be like when I am 80

WOW Jordan 10,000 post they should give you the award for most post ever posted on vizzed because if I was the owner I would give you an award and maybe send you a trophy too so yet again congratulations and you might as well keep pushing it

Meanwhile, I'm at 920ish posts here. ;-; so lonely. I probably could have gotten to 1K at this point, but I have a bad habit of not posting at all for a few days. And I don't have the motivation anymore to get to 1K before my anniversary either because I'm lazy.

Welp, enough about me, CONGRATULATIONS ON 10K POSTS ! I wonder if anyone would ever get to 100K posts though... <.<

Also, did you try (as in, went on sprees) to get to 10K posts, or was it something that "just" happened .

congrats! 10,000 is definitely a good milestone to hit. Not many people get to that point on any forum. Even around here it is still a pretty rare accomplishment.

Hopefully you are around for more milestones (although not likely any significant posting ones for a long time )

You finally made it, Jordan!

It took you a bit more than 5 years to get there, but still is a hard to achieve milestone as others have said. Proof of it is that you're just the 12th user to get a five digit post count. Considering that one of the users ahead of you is perma'd and another is long gone, you're now officially in the top 10 for active users with a five digit post count. Way to go!

My calculations say that your average posting was roughly 2k posts per month. You've been averaging way more than that recently, and I'm sure you can keep up the pace. If you do, 20k could come way earlier than your 10th Vizzed anniversary. How awesome does that sound?

I couldn't just like the thread. I have to say something since you are a great friend of mine. You don't post as much as you used too in the past Jordan, but you post enough to get to higher posts. Congrats on reaching another milestone. I hope to reach to 5000 soon. I am sure you will reach another which will be in more years to come. XD

awesomeguy279 : Thanks for the support and kind words. I never thought I would make it to 10k myself when I first joined the site. The last 6 months though I've had over 1,000 so I've been on a pretty good streak.

gamerforlifeforever2 : Hard to say really. All depends on how active the forums are overall. If the forums could pick up a little I could see myself getting another 10k a lot quicker. Especially if I could keep up my current streak of about anywhere from 250-375 posts a month.

JClip1366 : Well I'm not anywhere near the top of posts, then again most of those users have been around for like 4-5 more years than I have been.

ZeroTails : Thanks for being awesome! There were times within the first year or 2 of being on the site that people were focusing on getting post sprees. I know a couple of times I hit Ravering Syndrome and one time I even hit 'Ravering Syndrome+ (200 posts) but those times were few are far between. I've also won a couple monthly jerseys for a couple of categories in the TdV. But I've also had my times where I wasn't posting as much if at all.

geeogree : I appreciate the support. The last 1-2k posts really came pretty quick. Like I said before I think I've had like 1.2k posts over the past 6 or so months. Hopefully I can keep my activity close to that level and hit 20k much quicker. Just need some help with some more forum traffic ;-)

EX Palen : Yay! Thanks man. I feel pretty good that I've gotten to 50,000+ CP 10,000 posts and my 5th year anniversary on the site all over the past several months. If for nothing else than to show that I've spread my contributions around to all aspects of the site and have done so consistently, not just in TdV months.

It would really be awesome if I could to 20,000 posts in the next 2 years or so but like I said above, it's all gonna depend on the Forum's traffic.

I'm pretty happy that even though I'm over 10k posts now, my average words per post has stayed above 60, (It's currently at 64) which only a handful of us have with 5 digit post totals. Last time I looked only David and Leggy have a higher average than that. So the fact that I've been able to post a lot, I've done so by posting more in-depth and not a bunch of spammy one sentence posts.

yeah, of the people who have broken 10,000 posts you've got the third highest word count and I've got 4th (I'm at 63 right now). I've actually been pushing my average up by doing TV show reviews over the last few months. Really helps to get 500-1000 words in 1 post sometimes

Still, averaging over 50 words per post for 10,000 posts is not easy. I've posted a ton of tiny replies to threads (especially early on) so keeping my average up is a challenge.
