Cloud is in Smash 4. Well, I guess that's all that is really important here, but I shall go over all the other things that were of some note:
- Cloud from FFVII is in Smash Bros 4 (Most likely to have more information in a new Smash Bros Direct in December). Cloud seems to be a bit close Ike's style of combat, and what is truly bizarre is that Brawl Taunts predicted this pretty dang accurately. -The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess is getting a remake, fittingly named Twilight Princess HD, and comes with a Wolf Link and Midna Amiibo. The Amiibo (along with the other 5 LoZ Amiibo) has some functionality not only in TP HD, but has something to do with the new LoZ Wii U game, coming in 2016.
-Star Fox Zero has a slated release date of April 22nd, 2016 (Which so happens to be my birthday, my 18th in fact. Thanks, Nintendo.)
-Mother 3 is coming on the Virtual Console! Um, Only in Japan. Sorry.
-More Amiibo Figures, mostly Animal Crossing, are coming sometime around January 22nd. Included in this wave is Lucas' Amiibo (just of higher note).
-If you haven't gotten a Wii U yet, Nintendo is coming out with probably their best bundle period. A Wii U that comes with SSB4 and Splatoon. While these aren't a new release, it is a nice seller for this holiday season.
-Hyrule Warriors has new characters, with one being Linkle, a female Link! (finally. Sucks it isn't canon) Linkle is adept in using dual Crossbows and has a Spin Kick super of sorts.
-Dragon Quest VII and VIII Remakes are coming to the west.
-Fire Emblem: Fates is coming in a Bundle! Not only is the third version called Revelation, but the pack comes with Birthright , Conquest, and Revelation, an artbook and...! A carrying case. (I guess I didn't call the New 3DS XL based on FE.) FE:Fates is set to release Feburary 19th.
-Splatoon is getting more DLC, with 2 new stages and more weapons and costumes. The stages are based on a resort that gains ground near the end of the level to ink, and another is an Art museum (Might have more Miiverse posts than a normal level) with spinning platforms.
-Pokken was shown off with a Shadow Mewtwo fight and Amiibo card that unlocks him, I guess.
-Finally, Nintendo put the Original Pokemon games on the Virtual Console. It's only Pokemon Blue, Red, and Yellow, but the games use the 3DS' Wifi to trade now. Here's hoping to Gen II Ports.
-Pokemon Picross was announced. It's Free-to-Play, and it's Picross.
-Final Fantasy Explorers was announced for the 3DS. I don't know much about new gen Final Fantasy, but it comes with all the DLC from it in Japan and has the Job system. Explorers is set to release on January 26th, and I am glad to know that Bravely Second was touched upon and is releasing next spring (yusss).
-Megaman Legacy Collection for the 3DS was also announced. It comes with exclusive levels that are unlocked with a golden Megaman Amiibo.
-The direct also touched upon Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash and Xenoblade Chronicles: X. SMTxFE was touched upon in the Japanese Direct, but nothing for the western one.
I missed a few things, but this is most of it. If this is in the wrong area or someone made something like this before me or this isn't allowed feel free to just close this. Anyway, discuss. (and I'm back, I guess).
