The default key for fast forwarding in Mednafen is spacebar, but I would like to set it to use the equals key instead. Here's what I've tried so far:

Navigated to "C:ProgramDataVizzedVizzedRgrPluginUser-409292Mednafen_new", and opened mednafen-09x.cfg in Notepad++. Then, I scrolled down to line 156 and found "command.fast_forward keyboard 32". I changed keyboard 32 to keyboard 61, which is the key code for the equals key according to this Mednafen document. After that, I saved the .cfg file, and loaded up a Super Nintendo game on Vizzed in Mednafen. My settings were not saved.

From what I can tell, the settings are not saved because Mednafen in the RGR Plugin reloads its .cfg file every time a game is loaded. If you keep medafen-09x.cfg loaded in Notepad++ while you start up the RGR Plugin, a message pops up in Notepad++ saying that the file has been modified. So I'm not sure what to do any more. Does anyone know how I can change Mednafen's hotkey settings?

It's not Mednafen or notepad++, it's unfortunately the plugin.
For some reason, the plugin now does a check on the cfg and changes everything back to default except controls.

I dunno when it started, but I find it rather annoying as well.
