TornadoMudkip : Ouch, looks like I'd better work double-time on that, then! XD
Well, this actually isn't my first OVERALL tournament, as I've been to (and competed in) a countless number of local tournaments in the area. But something as big as a regional? Well, yeah, that's a first. My favorite moment has to be when I was with DC cheering on Nairo and Anti (two really stand-out players in Smash 4) as they were doing an iron man match (both players play the entire roster, one game at a time; loser goes on to next character, while winner stays). I had my Kirby plush with me, and we were cheering Anti on (since he was Kirby). However, Nairo (as Ryu) spiked Kirby to his death, and then proceeded to snatch Kirby and punch him down! Of course, in all of my combined excitement, I wasn't going to go quiet to that! NO ONE gets away with messing with Kirby when I'm around, not even one of the best Smash 4 players in the world!

...I digress, though. The hype overall of those moments with those three was beyond superb, enough to the point that I can barely even speak today! Hooray for strained vocal chords achieved from far too much hype! ... *cough*
Kirby's actually a little mediocre in Smash 4; he's certainly still not up to what his Smash 64 days were, especially since a good portion of the cast now has recovery that trounces even Kirby's (Fox/Falco have the same overall recovery ability, albeit more predictable, than Kirby; Villager and damaged Lucario have FAR better recoveries; R.O.B.'s afterburner at full power goes far higher than Kirby's recovery, etc.). Moreover, his lack of full aerial mobility (a character's ability to control side-to-side movement and speed in the air, not including the use of initial ground speed on a ground jump; Jigglypuff is a good example of excellent aerial mobility) makes him a bit easy to hit in the air, and makes it hard for him to set up his combos, which often start from his down-air. However, I want him known, because he's nowhere near as bad, either, as most of the competitive community says. That's what I want to do with him.
