So I don't know why I am getting this in super street fighter the new challengers for arcade, the same happened on super street fighter 2 turbo but it works for some reason, here's my info

I would like to know the answer to this as well since it happens to me periodically.

I'll just close the game window -- and make sure that the plugin-container process for firefox is also not running and then try the game again and it then works.

So to me that sounds like it's a problem with the server -- since it fails to "check in".

When it crashes, as I understand since the plugin executes an external program, the browser portion of the plugin checks to see if the process is running (which it isn't, cuz it crashed) so it throws an error that the program isn't running...hence the failure to check in.
