Whats with my crush and not giving me her okcupid so I can add her as a friend, as shown here in this conversation?

This is NOT about the same chick from my last two threads; this is about someone ELSE.



I mean, even if I didnt see the person who asked romantically too myself, I'd still be open to adding them as a friend.

I wanted to bring up dating apps with her eventually so maybe I can add her on them and see if she likes women romantically like I do!

I don't know her sexuality yet, but I know she's single through being friends with her since the beginning of the school semester (since September).

She never texts me first, but she almost always replies to me, with more than one word & its NOT awkward (this is the first time it HAS been with her...)

What's with her to be honest?

xxeliza321xx : Step 1 - Calm thyself. I'd say from that conversation that you handled the situation fine and it's now up to her to progress the relationship in that regard. I actually don't have any experience with those apps so I'm not quite sure how the profiles are organized, but I'd say it's a safe bet that platonic friends are less common / less likely to be added on a dating app. It'd be disheartening to hear that she wanted to keep her Facebook or something secret from you, but it's reasonable to assume she may want to just keep her dating profile for potential romantic matches.

In which case we have two options pending her sexuality: Either she wasn't immediate to add you since you're not an applicable match for her, or she's not sure if she wants to engage with you romantically yet. In any case, you've done all you could, it's best not to press the issue and just let her decide what happens next.

danielbelitch : Yea I think its the second half of your first paragraph....I asked some friends about this too and they paraphrased what you said. And I did decently on my first calc exam: 80 out of 100, by the way.
