Graphics: 6/10
Pros: This game was developed by Midway the makers of Mortal Kombat, so this game also uses digitized graphics of real people in the game. The 2D sprites look good, and resemble the characters very well. You can see the small details on The Undertaker's face,  Shawn Michael's hearts, and Yokozuna's sash(At least I think that's a sash on his pants). There's a few details like the screen flashing  to mimic the crowd taking pictures of the high flying action, and there's lots of camera angles that will just make your jaw drop. For example your character can get launched really high into the air, and that really was surprising yet added to the flair of the overall eye candy.

Cons: The Sega Genesis version looks a bit grainy compared to the other ports of the game such as the Snes port. You'll notice this a lot during the stages, the crowd, and even on some of the characters.

Sound: 8/10
Pros: The sound is really thrilling and exciting to go along with the game play. You have announcers in this game too, with them sometimes annoyingly calling you a cheater, or oh that's gotta hurt!. You also have samples with your opponent or you screaming when you go 20 or 30 feet high during game play. It really adds up and makes for an epic experience.  You Also have the various Entrance theme's, like the creepy Undertaker's theme, or Shawn Michael's traditional music theme in there.  You also have standard music playing in the background, and it'll mostly change during those annoying Handicap matches.
Cons: The sound on the genesis sounds scratchy, which can make the experience annoying.  The entrance theme while present, is lacking lyrics(This does go for any version of the game).

Addictiveness 9/10 This game is fairly simple to get into but difficult to master. I like playing the game because, it's not exactly the same as a traditional wrestling game. It plays very similar to that of Mortal Kombat, with the Superstars having health bars reaching to zero and then pinning them.  You have your high risk moves, and those pay off to do really devastating amounts of damage against your foes. I never learned how to do the special moves which was always the cool part of this game. This game isn't just a button masher at all, it's a really enjoyable experience when you get to know everything.

Story: N/A  There's no Story present in this game or any story mode. This game's goal is to pick either the WWF World Heavyweight Title, or The WWF Intercontinental Title.  Beat everyone else then beat the champ you win.

Depth:  9/10
This game only offers two Championships to chase after, and there's not really too many characters or any unique endings that make you wanna pick anyone different.  One thing that's present in this version over the Snes version is the fact that Yokozuna and Bam Bam Bigelow  are pick able characters, this was missed badly as those two are fairly easy, and fairly fun characters to enjoy. This game isn't long at all, it's just some of the annoying factors like the Handicap matches that make it a struggle to beat.

Difficulty: 7/10
You seriously need to figure out how to use the moves and stuff in this version when you go for the world title. The World title will place you in an incredibly hard 30 man match and a lot of Handicap matches through out the game.  It's all about knowledge, timing, getting your counters down, and surviving to win for 2 times. The WWF
Intercontinental Championship mode is the easy mode, and The WWF World Championship is the hard mode in short.

Overall:  9.1/10 This game can be incredibly frustrating, but it's also a fairly fun pick up and play game, it doesn't offer much, but it gets the job done.

I can tell you really like fighting games, the last few reviews from you were both fighting games!

Midway really was the king of awesome over the top video games back in the day! I guess you can't expect a story from a game like this, but it still sounds pretty good. Good review man!

Skilledtree : Yeah I do like a lot of fighting games.
Midway was awesome, too bad the whole Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe incident happened and that caused them to go completely bankrupt.

SuperCrash64 :

Man I'm sad they're no longer around. I'm pretty sure they also made games like MLB Slugfest, which was one of my favorite games growing up. They really captured the worst sides of everything in the best way lmao.

I know its straying from the topic somewhat, but what would you say your favorite fighting game is?
