This is a story of one of my.. less than finer moments in life.
I remember when we had a substitute teacher for my English class in 9th grade. Truth be told, when a substitute teacher came into town, I pretty much considered it a free day (which in hindsight, I know was not a cool thing to do). Anyways, so basically about half the class including myself are just completely slacking off. She was actually trying to teach unlike most substitute teachers, and seemed to really know her stuff. After awhile of us just sitting there talking and texting, she finally had enough of it and decided to confront the class.
She started talking about how disrespectful we were and then she started pacing. Then she continued class as usual, and we basically totally ignored her. After a few minutes, she went off again. This time though, she was in for quite the trip. She started walking towards the back of the class and tripped over a backpack - and I promise you that I can remember every detail of the fall. When she fell, she put her arms to her side, like a pencil or something, and face planted straight into the floor. It had to be the most awkward fall I ever witnessed, and the class started busting out laughing. I sadly was among those laughing, which really wasn't cool, but it happened.
When she got up, she returned to teaching without saying a word. Somewhat ironically, the class was silent and paying attention after the incident - and she never even told the teacher that anything even happened.
To this day, I feel bad that I left my book bag out in the isle like that.
