If you want to make a really bad game look no father then Daikitana.

Hard to believe the same guy that made Doom made this horrible piece of

crap.Back when this game was first announced I got really excited about it cause it was made by John Romero, the guy who made the super popular Doom franchise. I first played this game back when it first came out on PC. Boy that was a mistake. It ran on an outdated gaming engine, had bad looking graphics little to no sound and bad controls. But I'm not here to review the PC version. No, I'm here to review the much worse N64 version. So with that said let us commence with the review. I can tell you right now this game is really bad to play through.

Difficulty 1: I wish I could give a 0. I really do. Why? Well the A.I. In the game literally just stands there and does nothing. The player controls are some of the worse I have ever seen. The game itself is easy to go through even on the hardest setting.

Depth 1: What depth? No, seriously what depth? There is no depth to it. The game is so easy to get through that it is actually really funny. Wish I could rate it lower but I cant.

Story 1: there is a story about time traveling I guess. But it was so hard to keep straight that I lost interest in it real fast. Kind wish I could rate it lower but sadly I cannot.

Addictiveness 1: I will never play this piece of garbage ever again. I didn't wan play it prior to my review. But I had to in order to give an accurate review. What I'm trying to say is stay far away from it.

Sound 1: What sound? No really what sound? I had my speakers on the whole time I played and I thought that my sound card was going bad cause the games sound kept going in and out. Half the time a stage would have sound and the other half would be nothing. That goes double for the sound effects as well.

Graphics 1: Boring. That's all I can really say about it. Its not a game That's worth looking at for long periods of time ever. Wish I could rate it a 0 or below. If I could I would have seriously given it a 0.

Overall 0.1: Really though like every other rating I have given Daikitana it should be a 0. There is nothing redeeming about the game at all period. Even if you have an interest in playing it just to see how bad it is please head my advice and just do not play it at all.

Final Thoughts: Originally when the game came out I had high hopes for it. It was made by the guy who made Doom which is still my go to first person shooter no matter what. What I got however was a broken game with broken graphics. I still find it baffling that there are people out there that consider it a great game and one of Romero's best. They go so far as to defend it from people that absolutely hate it saying it is far better then any Doom game. Sorry Daikitana fans but Doom is far better then it ever will be. So as I said before stay away from the game at all costs. Please head my advice. Its just a bad game and not one of those its so bad that its good either.

Another review, another terrible experience from huntra

However this is not your best rant. For some reason you keep repeating at least 3 times that you had high hopes for the game. You could not say anything else? Also, you could have gone into more details as to why the graphics are so terrible: glitchy? the shapes are terrible?
