This is a question more for someone who is a Local Moderator, or higher, as this involves Site limitations rather then a "how can I" but I didn't know if I should have PM'd this or not. anyway.


I've been apart of this site for a little while now, and attempting to read everything is rather exhausting, not to mention confusing and hard to remember. I did leave for a while and when I came back, I couldn't find the rules. I did read what I could find, but I didn't see anything limiting members HTML or anything on HTML except that newbie members aren't allowed to use it.


I felt that I wasn't allowed due to the fact that only Trusted members were allowed to make layouts using the layout maker, but because I have unlimited HTML access (besides a few that don't work for whatever reason), I can do most of the same thing in the HTML tab of the Reply section.

Well trusted+ can make layouts like that but anyone lower than that can only use the basic layout maker which doesn't allow the use of code. If I remember correctly this is because people were using images that weren't appropriate making it get limited to people of a certain rank.

About using it in your responses like you did here I think it wouldn't be allowed for one it bypasses the vizzed only links in layouts since I am assuming you are using links from other sites and two it increases word count some which can give an unfair advantage in TDV.

You could always go to the market and look at one of the shops to see if there is someone trusted+ that is willing to make the layout you want.

I know you want to make your own, but for the time being, you could have someone help you until you get trusted yourself.

A suggestion based off of what Vanelan said, you could put your desired layout coding (in this case your Tails layout) in a Pastebin, then ask a trusted member to copy what's there and make you a layout real quick (would take <1 minute)
