Whenever I play a special stage in sonic the hedgehog 2, the game either shakes really fast in certain parts of the screen, or it freezes then automatically restarts somehow. I am trying to get Super Sonic in emerald hill zone so I am doing all the special stages there and this is done on a Sega Genesis with a real Sonic the Hedgehog cart. Also I am playing on a flat screen television.How can I stop this so I can finally get Super Sonic?

I'm sure you've already tried this, but I'll ask just in case: Have you tried cleaning the cartridge and system? It sounds like the game itself is messed up, so if you recently bought it, that could be a possibility.

Hopefully someone can help you with this if I can't.

Eirinn : hi thanks for the reply, I found out that I was just playing the game for too long or something cause after i left it off and returned 2 hours later it was fine. Also I have cleaned the cartirdge.
