Sign up now to our annual Tecmo Super Bowl tournament. I know our Team tournament just began a few weeks ago but the Tecmo Super Bowl tournaments last the longest of all the tournaments I hold each year since it lasts as long as the NFL season. This year it'll be 4 weeks longer because this time it will begin when the NFL's preseason begins which is August 13th.

This tournament will last for 24 weeks. The first 4 games will determine who advances into the regular games (I use this to weed out those who don't participate) and it'll also help determine who plays who during the regular games. The next 16 games are regular games and will be used to determine who goes to the elimination rounds. The last 4 games are the elimination rounds and the last round of course is the final matchup which is our Super Bowl.


Since 'Tecmo Super Bowl 2016' wont be released when this tournament begins, we'll be using 'Tecmo Super Bowl 2015' for the first 4 weeks and then we'll be using 'Tecmo Super Bowl 2016' once the regular season begins.


Requirements:
-You must live in the United States (unless you have had very little lag problems playing netplay with USA users)
-The RGR Plugin must work fine on your computer, especially for Nintendo NES games

1st = 250,000 Viz
2nd = 100,000 Viz
3rd = 50,000 Viz

MattyIce : No entry fee this year. I figured we didn't need one since we have 4 weeks dedicated to finding out who will participate and who wont and I want to get as many users signed up as possible.

Davideo7 : I was planning on entering this year, but my computer is broken and I won't be able to get a laptop until the season starts. But I'm also thinking, I think I can create the official logo for each Tecmo Bowl each year (like create this year's [Tecmo Bowl IV] and make some from the first 3 (Tecmo Bowl I, II, & III), and create future ones (Tecmo Bowl V and on), you like the idea David?

By the way, with the prize from last season, I was supposed to get 25000 viz, not 2500 (I made a mistake when telling you about it. It's not THAT big of a deal, but I do have less Viz than I need to do the two things I'm doing for Viz prizes, so I thought it'd be worthwhile to try.

Also, don't forget about the Pro Bowl idea I had last tournament.

What was the pro bowl idea? I forgot.

Basically, once we reach the final four, the two users who lose face each other using the two Pro Bowl teams, and that happens the week before the Super Bowl itself.

megamanmaniac : I suppose we could do that. Be sure to remind me again when that time comes.

I'm not confident in my Tecmo Bowl skills, but I think I'll take part in this competition anyways just to see how far I can go.

Hello davideo7,I would like to sign up

The newest plugin doesnt work for me at all. The semi new plugin only works for some 1 player games.

Netplay doesnt work at all for me (although I swear I got super mario bros and contra to work for me 1 time). Unless I can figure this out, it looks like I wont be participating this year.
