When I first saw the trailer with that one scene where the family was eating, I told myself that the movie could end up being really funny and that I might want to see it. In the end, I ended up seeing it with my friend the day it came out because he had wanted to see it as well. The movie was very silly and did have a lot of weird and stupid scenes, but for the most part there were a lot of funny scenes, and the story was really good and really sad as well. When I talk about movies, most people know that I really like a good story, which is why I liked movies like Interstellar so much, and it's one of the reasons why this turned out to be amazing. In fact, I'm not going to lie, this was the best animated movie that I had ever seen, right ahead if The Secret worms of arriety and Frozen. The movie started off really slow but it got really good really fast and there was really good comedy throughout the entire movie. My favorite parts of the movie were near the end once everyone was really fighting to bring things back to normal. I lived the drama and sadness behind it and yes, I did cry, because it was really feel and had a bunch of meaning to it and good drama and story.

The acting was great, well you can't really call it acting too much since it was just voices, but when you are talking about voices, the emotions and tones behind a voice can really set the mood for a movie and that's exactly what some of the actors here did, they made sure to get into their role as best as they could to make sure that we related to what was going on and that's yet another reason as to why I really liked it. The emotions themselves were really high as well, but that was probably just because each person was literally just one emotion, and the one I liked the most had to be sadness because she played her role the best and was able to set the tone really well and she had a few really good moments as well. My favorite scene was when they were trying to get into some sort of a prison for something and couldn't find a way to get in, so they snuck to the doors but the guards turned around and caught them. Sadness put up her hands and said 'oh, you caught us." This was one of the funniest scene in the while movie because of how bland and carefree her statement was. Overall, great acting by these guys.
The graphics were pretty cool too, there wasn't really a part where the animations failed to live up to our potential, especially when the people were in the abstract thoughts area and started turning into art pieces, I thought that was really clever and funny. Overall, the movie was VERY colorful and looked great.

The story itself is about Joy and Sadness getting lost away from headquarters while they try to get back, leaving the three people left there in a mess. Theres really no other way to explain what goes on without giving it all away kr making it sound really confusing so that's all I can really give out but it's really good and worth it.

Overall, this turned out to be a really good movie. I went in already expecting it to be good and it turned out being much better than I thought it would be. If you are a fan of animated movies, comedy, or just good stories in general, then I would suggest giving this one a try because you might end up liking it as well.
