What is your favorite Video Game Music from the Pokemon Series? Explain Why?

This is a very hard decision considering that I have tons of favorites from Pokémon. If I had to chose it would have to be between Pokémon Colosseum: First Battle or Zinnia's theme from Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.

Pokémon Colosseum is one of my favorite Pokémon games that came out on a console. The First Battle theme made me feel excited to battle whenever I heard it. Zinnia's theme I like cause the music really expresses the character.

Between the two I would have to choose Zinnia's Theme.

   My favorite themes usually would consist of the championship battles or battles with team leaders. The Heart Gold theme versus Lance and Red, the one against Cynthia, and the music when you face Archie and Maxie is amazing as well. But my favorite of all the battle themes is definitely Wally's theme from Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. It's a pretty big departure from other themes in the game, but it works so well, and it's just a great track. 
   I'd put this in a different category, when talking about songs outside of battle, since the tone is usually so different. Some of my favorites for overworld themes include Azalea Town, Cianwood City, Pallet Town, and honestly, I love Lavender Town. It's got a spooky feel to it, and the softer tone it has in generation 2 and their remakes gives the song an entirely different feeling, while still being great. 

I love most of the Pokémon themes. Always nice to listen to them.

My favorite Pokémon battle themes are ~

- BW Reshiram/Zekrom/Kuyrem battle theme.
- DPP Champion Cynthia theme.
- XY Elite Four battle theme.
- And many more, actually there are too many to list.

My favorite overworld themes are ~

- XY Lumiose City theme.
- Both the Black and White version Opelucid City theme.
- XY Route 19 (and maybe more of them).
- And again many more.

I really love the Pokémon themes. Good job, Nintendo!

I'm playing through Pokemon Conquest at the moment, and the music is amazing. I just haven't seen it all yet so I excluded the game while thinking about this.

I usually like Gold/Silver/Crystal's music the most compared to any Pokémon game. It's just that I love the Champion battle theme whenever I face Lance or Red.

My favorite pokemon music would have to be meteor falls from Omega Ruby/ Alpha Sapphire because I honestly think this remix is somehow even better than the original. I've never been this impressed with a remix or remastered version of video game music in my life. Best cave music ever.

If it has to be from the actual game then my favorites would have to be from the Black/White series because they seem a lot more energetic and upbeat and I just love listing to them, especially the ones for legendary Pokemon, elite four, and wild Pokemon battles.

My favorite Pokémon game theme is Kanto gym leader theme. No matter what game it is in, I love the sound of it. My second favorite game theme is Champion theme in Heart Gold and Soul Silver. 

My favorite is blue's final battle theme. It was just epic.

I hope this one counts? Its called Pokémon touhou merry's version. I streamed this a long time ago sadly there is no music of it but the soundtracks are amazing. I would have to say the two best music's is one when I was facing the Pokémon league and other. Was when I stumbled to a place and I faced something or someone. I dunno how to describe that, but the music was off the hook like literally. I may have to replay to be able to record the music, and such for people to see what I mean.

Main series: Overworld: Bike in all games, Ecruteak City in HG and SS
Spinoffs: All music in Conquest, Grovyles Sacrifice and Time Gears in TDS, and Go Rock Quads Solos and background music.

It may not be the best composed piece in the Pokémon series, but the league champion battle theme in Fire Red/Leaf Green holds a special place in my heart. This frantically paced, epic piece started up before I had recovered from the shock of my rival being the champion and it just felt so fitting - the fast paced, crescendo of the trumpets perfectly captured this desperate battle between 2 rivals to decide who's the best trainer in the world once and for all.     

You can never go wrong with the Champion Battle theme from Heartgold/Soulsilver or Giratina Battle Theme from Platinum. They're amazing. Oh, as well as the Xerneas/Yveltal Battle Theme in X/Y.
