After (ugh) another long time since I reviewed something, here's another review from me! I feel motivated to make more reviews but it's been a while. After reviewing Super Mario 64 StarRevenge, it's time for me to review another Super Mario 64 hack created by BroDute!

This hack contains 1 small overworld and 1 level. There are 6 stars in the hack. The level is 2.5D, a 3D environment but 2D gameplay. I've tried, you literally can't move any direction except for left and right. Time to review! (in Mario voice) Here we go!!!

Graphics: 8/10
The graphics are somewhat interesting in this hack. A lot of detail was added to the overworld and to the Seaside Town level.

In the Seaside Town level:
-the moving waterfalls
-the purple flowers
-the windows of the buildings
-the cage
-the lamp posts
-the lava in the red room
-the boxes

In the overworld:
-the triangle thing
-the LOL sign
-the box that the LOL sign is inside of

There's also the stars, which are a combination of green and yellow. It's rare for there to be multicolored stars in a hack (I've only seen them in some of BroDute's hacks) so I'm very proud of BroDute for adding that detail to this hack.  And finally, there's the enemies and talking Bob-ombs, which are colored differently. However, like I said, the graphics are somewhat interesting overall. Most of the town and overworld are just gray and black. Some graphics are re-used from the original Super Mario 64, such as Mario.

Sound (effects): 9/10
All of the sound effects are re-used from the original Super Mario 64. They're all neat though, especially the "start talking to Bob-omb" sound effect and the "red coin star showing up" sound effect. Not much to say about this. Uh...moving on!

Sound (music): 7.5/10

All of the music in this hack is custom! I'm not sure if either of the songs are made into the game by BroDute. Usually he uses songs from other Super Mario 64 hackers, so I'm going to assume that. As the green Bob-omb in the overworld said, the music in the overworld is Pokémon Shuffle music and the music in the level is from Super Mario RPG. Both of the tunes are catchy and well-made into the hack. In my opinion, the overworld's music is a little too loud though. (It's louder than the music in the level and adjusting the volume on my computer isn't fun) Other than that, I have nothing against either of the songs!

Addictiveness: 7.5/10

Although this hack is very simple, short, and easy, it's pretty addicting. It's not so addicting that I have trouble staying away from the game though XD Most of the jumps are pretty fun and it's easy to speedrun this game, which makes it even more addicting. I wouldn't mind it that much if I could never play this again, though.

Story: 0/10

There's no story to this hack. It's only for fun, which I like There's no pressure to save the very-often kidnapped Princess Peach or anything like that, there's just the pressure to get all of the stars before I'm not able to play the game anymore!

Depth: 1/10

Like I said before, this hack only contains 1 level with 6 stars. Top-notch Super Mario 64 players can beat this on their first try in less than 15 minutes. It's also easy, which I'll give details about next.

Difficulty: 6/10

Again, it's easy! I'm very skilled at Super Mario 64, so this is unbelievably easy for me, but for most Super Mario 64 players this should be easy, especially since it's 2.5D. Also, the jumps aren't that challenging and the only challenge for me is avoiding the Chuckya. I really don't like Chuckyas XD They're probably my least favorite enemy from any Mario games

Overall: 8/10

This hack is unique and neat for a Super Mario 64 hack. The difficulty isn't very hard or very easy, it's inbetween. It's perfect for speedrunners and it's perfect for people who are busy and want to play a quick game.

Thanks for reading this review! If you want to be summoned to my next reviews (if I don't just stop again then there will be next reviews XD), please let me know! Also, I'd appreciate any criticism on this review, since I'd like to keep improving my reviews!

Nice review! I liked reading about it, and your review definitely made me want to try it out if I could learn the N64 controls on here.
It's easy to read and organized. Nice job.

GamingN00B: Thank you! For this hack you can use the emulator 1964. If you double-click in that emulator you can adjust the controls to be whatever you want them to be! Unfortunately, that's not the case with every Super Mario 64 hack though, if you ever want to try any others.

Great review, Pac! It was well made, and was entertaining all the way
through. I'm not much of a player of hacks, but you've convinced me to
give this one a try.

I wonder what the character limit on this thing is.

GamingN00B : Will this summon work? Edit: Yay!

A user of this : Thanks! I'm glad my review caused you and GamingN00B to want to try this hack. I'm the opposite, I play more hacks than I do games XD

I remember playing this hack sometime ago, but I got bored and closed it, after 5 minutes of gameplay. Aside from that, great job with this review. I like how you introduced the hack and, as GamingN00B said, how organized and detailed you were in all the other aspects of the hack.

Great job!
