I thought this would be a short-lasting problem so I never mentioned it before, but this has been going on for several weeks. Every time I take a screenshot of a Nintendo 64 game in Mupen64 Plus, I go to the screenshot page and it's entirely black. I can still click on it, though, so I know it's there. One time I accidentally uploaded one of those blank screenshots. I've tried multiple N64 games only to get the same result.

Am I the only one having this problem? Can someone please fix it soon or show me how to fix it, if possible? Any help is appreciated

I do have that same problem. I tried playing Perfect Dark on here once and I made a screen shot and got a black screen, but it was still postable. I don't know how to fix this. One thing I would try is to clear your cookies and try again maybe. That might not do anything, but it's a good thing to try. Clear cookies AND cache if you want to see if that works. Tell me what happens.

If you want RGR help, then I would ask tRIUNE of course about that, seems very unusual to do such a thing.

GamingN00B : Clearing the cookies and cache didn't work. Thanks for the suggestion though! I'm glad to hear it's not only me that has the problem.

Just like in my other game problem thread I created today (it's only for the game itself), I only tested Mupen64 Plus before making the thread. Whoops.
Screenshots work in 1964, just not in Mupen64 Plus.

tRIUNE : Can you please investigate this problem for us? Please be sure to read my entire first post and this post to get the specifics. Thanks in advance!

PacmanandMariofan : Uhhhhh do you actually go to this page:
https://www.vizzed.com/playonlinegames/screenshots.php?id=9066
To get your screenshots?
Because they all show up for me on FireFox with RGR plug in 2.25 and it also works on Opera is RGR plug in 2.25.
Can you describe your problem more? Does it say that it uploads your screen shot to the server when you press F6 or does it not do anything?

Barathemos : Sorry, I forgot to mention my browser. I'm using the RGR plugin 2.25 as well, with Google Chrome. Yes, I do check that page, multiple times actually.

It successfully uploads my screen shot to the server, and I went to the game's page and saw the blank screenshot to confirm it.

The plugin won't work at all on Firefox or IE. It says it's not installed but it is. I should probably try to fix that. That's why I've only tried it in Chrome.

PacmanandMariofan : Pro Tip: Use Opera. It has the best plug in support of them all.

As you know, Chrome is disabling all NPAPI plug ins soon, so it's a good switch to already make.

It should work in firefox by doing the regular downloading steps and for internet explorer use this thread:
https://www.vizzed.com/boards/thread.php?id=86939

Chrome just isn't going to work properly at all anymore, so there isn't a good reason to continue using it. This is probably just a Google Chrome problem. I can't check because I have Chrome 45, which no longer supports NPAPI plug ins, sorry about that.

GamingN00B : Are you using chrome too? If so look above at what I said to Pacmanandmariofan.

Barathemos : I noticed that Chrome was going to disable the RGR plugin soon since it gave me a popup bar saying that. I wonder why Google is disabling all NPAPI plugins. Maybe they're creating issues with Google.

I successfully got the RGR plugin to work in IE so Davideo7's steps worked. I had to do that back when I had a much older version of IE on Windows XP so I don't know why I forgot to try that on my newer IE on Windows 7.

Also, N64 screenshots are working in IE, unlike Chrome!

Once Chrome is done allowing the RGR plugin, it won't be a problem anymore. Until IE is permanently deleted when Windows 10 comes out... I'll mess around with getting it to work on Firefox when I feel like it Thank you so much! Hopefully GamingN00B will get the same problem solved for him.

I feel like this thread should stay open for a little while longer though. (maybe 2-3 days or something like that)

PacmanandMariofan : Actually, you should really use Opera once IE is deleted. It's kind of like Chrome but with better plug in support.

And the reason why Chrome is disabling all NPAPI plug ins is because they are old plug ins that were made years ago, and some of them were starting to have problems with Chrome. You may know the Unity plug in used for some games, that is another example of an NPAPI plug in.

David is going to try and convert the plug in to a PPAPI kind of plug in with Tom, but that is very hard to make that conversion and very expensive, so for now Chrome is just out of the picture with trying to use the RGR plug in on it.
